Dr. David Abdiel Cedeno

One of the worst dental experiences. Do not go to this dentist. Take the extra time to find one with all good reviews at least how a dentist speaks and treats a patient before the surgery. This guy was a joke.

Dr. Cedeno is he first dentist/oral surgeon I've been to that used a drill on my teeth without sending me through the roof! He pulled all 4 of my wisdom teeth in 2006 under general anesthesia (totally knocked out), without any recourse. I healed quickly and with minimal discomfort. Today, he pulled out a tooth root from a broken tooth gone bad from a root canal (by another dentist). I had NO PAIN!!! And several hours after the root was removed, still no pain! If you ever need an oral surgeon, he is the one to go to! He's the best!!! Thank you Dr. Cedeno for a job well done! And your staff and office is great too! I highly recommend him to everyone!

We came to Dr. Cedeno to have four of my 11 year old son's teeth extracted. We had a consultation that went well, and a surgery date was scheduled for 2 weeks following. We arrived on time for the 8 am scheduled surgery and after waiting more than an hour were told a written referral from my son's orthodontist was needed before the teeth could be extracted. They hadn't mentioned this in our initial consultation or any time in the two weeks between. Dr. Cedeno was impatient and condescending, even stating that he couldn't possibly extract the teeth until my son had braces - a bizarre and completely incorrect assessment. The teeth were to be extracted so that the braces could be put on, not the other way around. There was never a question about that at all. We rescheduled and came back 2 weeks later, having gotten the written referral. We arrived on time for a second 8 am scheduled surgery, and were made to wait 50 minutes before being told the doctor was 'running behind' and our wait… would be another 2 hours. My 11 year old son, who was going to be put under general anesthesia, had not eaten or had water for 8 hours leading up to the scheduled surgery. I asked the office manager if it was at least possible that the wait would be shorter and was told no, there was no way. She said she was very sorry and took complete responsibility for this scheduling problem and the paperwork issue two weeks before, but that there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to the doctor, and was told he was in another surgery, but she would speak to him. She came back and told us Dr. Cedeno would not be able to do the surgery at all. It was best if we found another doctor. I don't know if this is the way they clear an overbooked schedule, but it is the most incompetent and unprofessional office I've ever seen, medical or otherwise.

The staff asked us to leave the office right after my son woke up from the anesthesia. Usually patients have an hour or so to recover before leaving.We were also overcharge, sent a letter asking for more money even though we paid everything. I do not recommend this doctor.

I have a great fear of dentists because I have had horrible and extremely painful experiences. I went to Dr. Cedeno this week for two extractions. I was in awe! Walked in at 1:30 and was done by 2:18. No pain. He was very comforting and gave me the sense that everything was going to be ok. Im healing fine. Hopefully I NEVER have to see an oral surgeon again.. but if I do, I am going right back here!

I was getting my wisdom teeth extracted and had to ask if I was getting anesthesia, had to bring someone with me, etc., nothing was explained to me. The staff was unprofessional, I had to call to verify my own appointment. For some reason my consultation was at the same time as my appointment(?), which presented some problems when the Doctor decided that I needed to drive across town to get a special x-ray before he could do any work on me. After explaining that I had taken 2 days off of work for this, my surgery was then rescheduled for the next day. The doctor was one hour late for my appointment and did not even apologize. The doctor did not address me after the surgery at all, and again I had to ask for aftercare instructions myself. I am a little surprised that I actually when through with the surgery here after all of the unprofessionalism i encountered.

Dr. Cedeno is one of the most asinine, aggressive and confrontational humans I have met.
