Dr. David Jonathan Chesner, DO

Dr. Chesner is a wonderful, gentle, caring physician. He is easy to talk to and takes his time explaining your condition to you. He treats me with kindness and patience. I highly recommend Dr. Chesner.

There is no doctor better than Dr. Chesner. For 20 years he has treated my lupus, fibromyalgia, and the long list of medical conditions I have with extraordinary compassion and knowledge. He has never let me feel that my life was hopeless to manage these autoimmune diseases, he has always looked for ways to improve my treatments and my well-being. He continues his education to provide the best treatment when medical improvements are available. He partners with me, listens to me, and treats me with amazing care.

Dr. Chesner treats both my son and I for RA/PsA/Fibro, and is amazing! He is encouraging, thorough, knowledgeable, caring, and works with you to find the best treatment possible. It's so important to have a supportive Doctor who listened to you and also makes you feel like he really wants to help you! That's Dr. Chesner! My only negative is that because he's such a good Doctor, he is in demand and appointments fill up quicky.

Dr Chesner is a brilliant physician. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and the best in the field. Having RA is often met with various challenges in life. Dr Chesner always remains positive and offers viable options in treatment. Dr Chesner has been life-changing for me. The staff at the Newtown Office is wonderful and the infusion lab is second to none. Highly recommend!

Dr. Chesner is the best doctor I have EVER had and I've had too many to count over my lifetime struggle with Lupus. He was the FIRST doctor to really "get" me. He understands the struggle, the chronic pain, and the disease progression. His empathy and care for his patients is like no other I have ever seen. Whether it's happy days, sad days, grumpy days or pain days for the patient, he takes it all in stride, looking beyond all of that to SEE the patient. He goes out of his way daily to make sure his patients have everything they need to maintain not only comfort and freedom from pain, but the highest QUALITY of life possible. He helps you set reasonable life goals and then works with you medically to help you achieve those goals. If you need someone in your medical corner who can think outside the box, there's no one better than Dr. Chesner!

Dr. Chesner is a very knowledgeable physician. He truly cares about his patients. I’ve been ill with Lupus and MCTD, which has been a complicated situation with my health, but have come along way because of Dr. Chesner helping me to have a better quality of life. The staff at the Newton Office: Nurses in the Infusion Dept., Medical Assts. and Secretaries at the front desk are all Empathic, kind and Excellent. Also, I recently had to receive an Infusion on a Saturday, at the Willow Grove Office and felt at great ease with the Staff being very alert as well as caring during the process. I have received excellent care from Dr Chesner for 9 years. He was right on with his diagnosis of my RA and treatment plan. He is very trustworthy and honest. He has a way of putting me at ease when I have concerns. There is never a silly question. He treats everyone with respect. I would highly recommend Dr Chesner.

My wife has been a patient of Dr. Chesner's for just shy of 20 years and has consistently received exemplary care from him. Recently she has suffered with an extreme fybromyalgia flare which required a combination of medications to keep her pain level under control. Dr. Chesner worked with her on a continuous basis to prescribe and update a medication regimen that worked for her evolving situation. This included his being available for several phone conversations after hours, on his days off, on holidays and weekends. By following his instructions we were able to limit the potential magnitude of the flare and its fallout. His experience, council, and empathetic manner throughout this episode increased our already high regard for him.

Eighteen years ago, I could not even sit or stand, my pain was that bad. Thanks to Dr. Chesner, 6 years later we got the right meds. In 2017, I no longer had pain. As a doctor, he cares about me, hugs me when I come in & is concerned about all of me, not just my health. I wish I could give him 20 stars. God bless you, Ches.

I felt uncomfort, he was rude, lacked bedside manor, wanted to bill for services I did not need. ..I left and will never go back!! After brief google search it appears he comes from a family of convicted con artists including his 84 year old father Jack Chesner of Morris Plains. There are plenty of doctors with good morals and ethics, Dr. David Chesner is NOT one of them!
