Dr. David J Ciske, MD

I have only been a patient of his for a short time now, seeing him a total of 3 times and in those times I have found Dr. Ciske to be a very professional and caring Doctor. In my opinion, he took his time with me and seemed to really listen to my problems. In other words, his bedside manner was good. After loosing my last long term Doctor back in 2010, I haven't found one that stacked up to my needs since. I had seen 3 other Doctors until someone recommended Dr. Ciske. I'm grateful that they did. No more Doctor hunting for me.

Like any physician today, Dr. Ciske has to work quickly and efficiently, but in several years of office visits I've always felt he was willing to spend as much time as necessary to diagnose and treat my ailments.

Cheery demeanor but woefully ignorant of elemental matters, not especially bright, oblivious of critical distinctions, and it's just possible he gets some kind of perverse kick from inflicting psychological abuse. Well, maybe the abuse is merely an unintentional consequence of the obliviousness combined with obtuseness, but in any case he has very little credibility with me now and I would strongly recommend against him.

He seemed perfectly pleasant and easy to get along with at first (although like a reviewer below, I was taken aback at his many, detailed, and thoroughly irrelevant questions about my sex life and sexuality--I'd forgotten this until I read her review), but eventually it became apparent that he enjoys gratuitously insulting me in a passive-aggressive way--about a thing of which he has a disturbingly distorted view. He has a crude manner of speaking and was dead wrong about the medical matter we last discussed (I checked afterward). I recommend you avoid this doctor if at all possible.

Both my husband and I have had Dr, Ciske as our primary physician for over three years. He has been respectful, thorough, and knowledgeable in dealing with all issues we've brought before him. He hasn't hesitated to order tests that were needed and the follow-up care that was helpful. We have confidence in his medical professionalism.

Dr. Ciske is an excellent physician.
