Didn't listen to anything, was in a rush to get to next appt, refused to run tests (tests which were later run by another doctor that were positive).

Do not go to Dr. Clark for any type of cosmetic rhinoplasty work. It's comical his bio says a "wealth of experience in primary and revision rhinoplasty." Anyone who knows anything about rhinoplasties knows that revisions are incredibly difficult and require another tier of expertise, so much so that many surgeons won't perform revisions and will refer to those who can. Dr. Clark's primary work is terrible so I can't even imagine what his revisions would be like. I had my primary with him and quite literally one side of my nose completely collapsed. In addition to the collapse my nostrils were very uneven. After reading some of the other rhinoplasty comments below I see I'm not alone. I have since had FIVE revision surgeries to try to undo the damage he caused. All the additional work has cost around $35k. My latest surgeon was nationally renown in revisions and the results are fantastic. Not perfect, because Dr. Clark's original work was so egregious, but for the first time in nearly… 10 years I finally feel comfortable looking in the mirror. Please take this post seriously. As someone who suffered from SEVERE depression for years after Dr. Clark botched my face I cannot stress enough how important it is to choose a qualified surgeon for cosmetic work. I didn't appreciate this when I first selected him, I was young and just assumed anyone that wasn't doing surgeries in a back alley was qualified, since rhinoplasties are so common. After nearly a decade of research and conversations with countless surgeons around the country I can tell you that the nose is one of the most difficult cosmetic procedure performed and the doctor will make or break your results. Similar to the posts suggested below. Dr. Clark's bed side manner completely eroded when I wasn't pleased with the results - blamed it on everyone healing differently. Every surgeon I went to thereafter said it was 100% his technical skills. He had removed way too much cartilage on one side. They read his operative notes and said the techniques he was using were also dated. He may be a fine ENT, but that does not make him qualified for cosmetic surgery. Save yourself the financial and emotional trauma and seek out surgeons whose primary focus is rhinoplasty and face/nose/eyelids/brow procedures. My last surgeon was performing nearly 4 rhinoplasties a week - practice makes perfect.

Saw my sister in law for a mystery chronic congestion she's had for the last 4 years. He didn't ask any questions, he peeked at her nose and throat, declared it allergies and gave her Allegra and Flonase. We were so mad that we immediately went out and scheduled a full allergy panel, again OUR idea, NOT his. She came back negative for all allergies. She has non-allergic rhinitis. How useless is a doctor not to interview the patient and not to try to find the root of the problem.

Dr. Clark was wonderful. I went to him after I had the mose procedure done at a dermatologist to remove a basel cell carcinoma from my nose. I went to him right after the procedure because I was unhappy with how the dermatologist wanted fix the huge hole in my nose! Dr. Clark was comforting and assured me he could help me get a better result. He scheduled plastic surgery for me, and now no one even notices that I once had a whole in my nose the size of a dime! I was so pleased with my results and the care I got from Dr. Clark.

I want to express what a great man and surgeon Dr. Clarke is. He was recommended to me by two doctors and surgeons, one being an ENT himself. This doctor told me that due to the extensive damage I had, that Dr. Clarke was the only person who could fix my nose correctly. Dr. Clarke asked me what would I like done to my nose. He met all of my expectations and then some. Dr. Clarke is also a facial surgeon. He knew what would be appropriate for my face. He is a wonderful gifted surgeon. He is a true perfectionist which adds to his talents.

Think twice before letting this cutnut do surgery on you because he gave me a crooked nose and bad breathing and he assured me he was the best in Raleigh. I confronted him about results and said your nose isn't crooked when its very obvious!

Unfortunately I have the opportunity to see a lot of doctors, so I have a good perspective on what a good doctor really is. Dr. Clark was engaged, sympathetic, attentive and took his time discussing my history and explaining what he was seeing. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Clark at Capitol ENT combines professionalism and expertise with friendliness and genuine patient concern. The supporting staff was great, and everything was done in a timely manner.
