I saw this man ONCE for my severe chronic pain. His recommendation for me was to read a book about living with pain. I have fibromyalgia, Cervical Radiculpathy, Cervical and Lumbar Stenosis, Severe DDD, Multiple bulged discs, Scoliosis, Failed cervical fusion just to name a few! After suggesting this "reading material" he then proceeded to note in my chart the diganosis of "Long term opioid use" when I saw this, I emailed him to question it since at that time I hadnt been on opioids of any kind for several years. He said "its not a bad thing, but its true we can see you were on opioids back in 2007" YES I was! That's when I had my neck surgery!!!! So I asked do you put "Long term insulin use" in a diabetics chart?? Come on! Can you say AGENDA?? I couldnt finish the visit I literally walked out on him. He's a joke. I finally got decent pain control but had to leave the UofM system to get it. I DO NOT recommend this man (sorry I cant even call him a doctor!)
