Fifteen years ago..I had open RNY.Dr.C was the antithesis of the stereotypical surgeon.Pleasant empathic approachable. Day after my surgery I was feeling yecchy and huge and smelly. When he came to do rounds, he sat on the side of my bed instead of ostanding .I will never forget that small piece of kindness that I'm sure he didn't even think about. Still refer people to him .

Dr. Coster, Made huge impact in my life when he did my Nissen Fundoplication. Before food was getting stuck and had horrible GERD and after all was better. Thank you Dr. Coster for being such a wonderful physician and surgeon. Dr. Coster is amazing LGBTQ accepting person. His office I recommend all friends, boyfriend and family should see.

I was referred to Dr Coster by my surgeon because he felt he could not handle such a complicated surgery. When I met him he explained my condition and 2 days later, on his day off did my surgery. With the ability that he has with the robot doing this type of surgery I was up and had no pain 4 hours after surgery. He was very good at explaining everything to my husband after surgery. When he visited me the next morning spent he alot of time explaining what happened in the surgery and what I should expect for the next few days before I came back for my 1st follow up visit. At that visit he sat down with us and listened to every question that I or my husband had and answered in a way that was easy to understand. At my 5 week visit he was as good as before and I left feeling how lucky I was to have been referred to this man. His bedside manner is very comforting yet you also see the confidence he has in his knowledge of his profession. I would recommend him to anyone.

I WOULD WAIT ANY LENGTH OF TIME FOR DR. COSTER, AS HE GIVES YOU THE TIME WHEN YOU ARE WITH HIM. HE IS VERY CARING AND CONFIDENT! I COMPLETELY TRUST HIM!
