Dr. David Mark Crane, MD

IF I EVER HAVE TO RETURN TO THE HOSPITAL, AND I NEVER WANT TO; I JUST HOPE THAT DR. CRANE IS ON DUTY. NEVER HAVE I HAD CONTACT WITH SUCH A COMPASSIONATE PERSON. I ONLY WISH THAT I COULD HAVE HIM AS MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR. ON A 4.0 SCALE, DR. CRANE RATE 4.0 WITH ME.

I have been recently experiencing weakness/syncope with one episode which included seizure-like symptoms. I rarely am sick and began feeling as though I was having another syncopal episode today (my pulse had been running below 50). I was reluctant to go to the E.R. again today but did so anyway. I have never, I mean NEVER experienced such rude behavior from a medical staff member(Dr. Crane). Dr. Crane questioned me as though it was an interrogation; why were my vital signs stable if I felt so terrible? (It was one set of vitals he was noticing). I told him I felt awful--I was nauseated and felt the room was spinning. He was very patronizing and kept noting my stable vital signs. He looked at my paperwork from the other E.R. and began abruptly casting each paper aside with statements normal, normal, negative findings--he again was stating that it didn't make sense and what was my real problem. Out of frustration I finally asked for another Doctor who was able to give me answers… (vertigo) without patronizing me. I plan to follow up with a Carroll County patient rights advocate.
