Dr. David Leonard Cummings, MD

Dr. Cummings joined the medical staff of Gila Health Resources Family Medicine and 24-Hour Urgent Care Medicine Departments in 2007. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1983, and completed an Internship in Family Practice with the University of Utah at the McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah from 1983 through 1986. He provided both inpatient and outpatient medical care as a staff physician with the Navajo Nation Health Foundation in Ganado, Arizona from 1986 to 1993, practiced Family Medicine with Med Square Clinic in Silver City, New Mexico from 1993 to 1999, and as a private solo practitioner in Silver City from 1999 until he joined Gila Health Resources in Morenci. Dr. Cummings has been Board Certified in Family Practice since 1986.
