Dr. David John Demarco, MD

This doctor decided it was ok to reach inside my bra and squeeze my breasts and hold them while he was listening to my breathing. I was there for chest congestion, this was not a breast exam. He was reported to the medical board, but because I had no proof, nothing happened. If you are a female, or the parent of a female, stay far away!

I've been seeing Dr. Demarco for several years and plan on continuing to see him in the future. I'm HIGHLY impressed with his bed side manners. He listens to me with full attention when I'm explaining my ailments or symptoms. He asks great questions and I always feel that every visit is personal to me and my needs, not just another patient and diagnosed based on national percentages...

Dr. DeMarco became my doctor after my former doctor retired. He seemed nice and appeared to listen to me at first. He suggested a diet program that he was starting up and I told him I was interested. He never followed up. His staff suggested setting up an online account but they never followed up either. On my last visit I had a skin issue that I wanted him to resolve. He told me it might be one of several things and that I should look it up on the Internet. On that same visit it took me almost an hour in the waiting room because they forgot about the previous patient who was already waiting. I have had trouble getting prescriptions refilled and updated in his record system with his staff as well. I am about ready to find another doctor. I don't get the impression he has the inclination to get to know me and doesn't really listen to my concerns.

I've been seeing Dr. Demarco for years and he's an he's an amazing doctor. He is very sweet and makes you feel like he really cares about you. If he could be on time every now and then he'd be perfect.

He makes you feel as though you are his only patient. He spends time with you which sometimes causes a wait for someone else. But if that someone else needed the extra time he would give it to them also.

He was in and out of the office for personal cell phone calls 3-4 times after waiting for 45 minutes

I wouldn't take my sick Dog to see him. You have been warned.

Wow, Dr. DeMarco seems to be a nice caring guy - but be prepared to PAY - He pays no attention to diagnosis codes, and for insurance - that is vital!My visits - one of which was a wellness visit - all were over $200.00 All ended up NOT covered by insurance -3 visists over $700.00I'd recommend NOT doing to Family Medical Group - at any of the locations.They simply price gauge - even with those that have insurance.$233.00 for a regular visit? And we wonder why our health insurance rates are so high!If DeMarco goes into private practice, and has more time with patients, and has a billing staff that can get to the phone and an appointment staff that can ANSWER the phone, I'd reconsider ...BUT ONLY after I've won the lottery!Avoid!
