Dr. David Adam Diamond, MD

During my working life, I became familiar with hundreds of medical practices and organizations. Florida Radiation Oncology is among the top clinical practices I have ever seen. The staff is professional, efficient and reassuring. Both Drs. Diamond and LaFave have outstanding professional credentials, and Val (the nurse/ patient coordinator) was always helpful. Dr. Diamond and Val fully explained the options and possible side effects before any radiation treatments began (I have experienced none). The surgeon who referred me to this practice told me that the equipment and technology are cutting edge, and that he would choose this option over surgery for himself. I certainly recommend this practice if you elect for radiation, with or without surgery. All of the patients in a practice like this have serious problems that may involve difficult decisions. My experience has been entirely positive! Highly recommended.

I am of advanced age and was diagnosed as having "low risk" prostate cancer. Dr Diamond talked me into undergoing his radiation treatment. This completely,severely damaged my rectum, bladder and now who even cares about sex. Now, I've been told that I never even needed Dr Diamond's treatment and that I could have simply followed my PSA. This was never an option given to me by Dr Diamond, who now coudn't care less about me! I'm holding back the profanities!!!

Dr Diamond seems to think very highly of himself, and yet I haven't figured out why?? Is is a less than average doctor who seems to want to rush you through his treatment system and spend as little time with you as possible. I guess that once he has you as a patient, he already has your money.

Dr Diamond provided my care during my recent radiation treatments. I cannot say enough good things about him, his wonderful office staff, and technologists. The level of care was far beyond what I expected. I am an oncology nurse so I went into this treatment with a far amount of understanding of what to expect. However every question and concern was handled in such a professional yet personal manner. I had a standing appointment to see Dr Diamond every monday morning after my treatment. He addressed all my concerns through a compete examination. There were a few times I needed him during the week and he was always available as was his wonderful ARNP. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is receiving radiation. he staff is knowledgable and so eager to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I never had to it longer than 5 minutes for my appointment or to see Dr. Diamond. The office is efficient and clean. Amanda who is the social worker is… so sweet and really understands the complications of insurance and billing. She basically took over all my worries and kept me informed of what to expect. She filled paperwork for me and was sure to follow up several times a week to make sure everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend this office! I am a very grateful patient!

Dr. Diamond treated me with much respect and patience. His staff was dedicated and supporting throughout my medical care.

First, the staff at Dr. Diamonds office is very caring and compassionate. My waits are always minimal. Dr. Diamond was highly recommended by my surgeon. I find him to be pleasant and thorough and concerned about my well being. Our conversations are friendly and helps ease the anxiety I have about being in the office. I have great confidence in his care.

After reading the other reviews I am wondering if we are all dealing with the same Dr Diamond! Although he didn't spend a great deal of time with me I never felt like he was in a hurry either. I found him to be kind and warm and more than willing to answer my questions.
