Dr. David Perry Dickson, MD

I found Dr. Dickson to be rude, arrogant and dismissive. He may be a talented doctor, but his manner is off-putting. He tends to bristle if you question what he suggests you do.

I absolutley love Dr.Dickson he has gone above and beyond for me so many times! He is the best!

I would avoid this doctors office at all measures. Dr Dickson is great for basic illnesses. The biggest problem is the staff the work for the doctor. They are rude, mean, not helpful in anyway. They will do nothing to assist you. Find any other doctor out of Lynden, Washington.

We saw Dr. Dickson as my child's pediatric family doc. I was there for concern of blood and mucus in her stool. She's 3 month old. Dr. Dickson briefly listened to my concerns about her screaming and belly distention/ gas, clawing at her face, and irritability for the past week, I was unable to put her down for long. He said to start with Zantac first. I thought this was unnecessary since she had been on it before with no improvements and my baby does not spit up- Maybe 3 x week at worst. I agreed to try again and asked what would out next step be? He said, " i don't have a next step" I requested that he re-order a ultrasound for her belly, due to the fact my baby was also pooping breastmilk after one month of not having any. Is this normal? He said this was a good thing. In the past, he had ordered one before due to tummy issues as well. We never had it done cuz I was told it was unnecessary. He refused this time, and told me to ask a pediatrician to order one. I asked about the… blood/ mucus in the stool? He said he had little concern. I asked why do they tell parents to immediately contact your pediatrician if you see blood or mucus in your baby's stool. He didn't explain but rather, He told me to ,"see a pediatrician, and see one from here on out" and walked out of the room. no orders for lab tests... No explanations, nothing! This conversation took maybe 10 minutes. Never tried to calm my fears even if it wasn't anything. He are scheduled to see someone else tomorrow. My baby and myself will see ourselves out of the practice. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

wonderful doctor who has great bedside manner. Recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor who cares about his patients and knows medicine!

Dr Dickson is definitely a WONDERFUL doctor-he actually CARES about his patients. He gives you his full attention during your exam, and he's very well knowledged in medicine! His bedside manners are the best-from the many doctors I've had, he is definitely TOPS! I have no plans to ever change to another doctor because I've found the best!
