Summary
Hello, I"m Dr. David Dillon. I have been a practicing dentist for more than 20 years. Over that time I have come to appreciate a few simple "truths" about the practice of dentistry:
Technology has become an absolute necessity in providing today’s modern dentistry, but is no substitute for a good “chair side mannerâ€. The human aspect of providing dental care is still the most important one.
Forward thinking and being on the “cutting edge†of all of dentistry’s new developments must be tempered with caution, not all new dental innovations are as good as they are first promised to be.
Finally, i feel that working on ONE person at a time is the most rewarding and relaxing way to provide the quality dental care that each of our patients expects and deserves to recieve.
I have taken thousands of hours of continuing education over the years to “keep up†with all the ever changing profession I have chosen. These classes include, but are not limited to implants, orthodontics …(old fashioned mental braces), Invisalign (new “invisible†braces), single visit root canals, non-surgical gum disease treatment, sedation, and cosmetics just to name a few.
I have been married to Judy, (yes, the wonderful kindergarten teacher here in Dixon) for more than 22 years and we have two teenage sons. (they do remind us daily how stupid and embarrassing we are)
