Dr. David Wayne Dobbs, MD

I have been a patient over 5 years, I had a prescription I was required to call each month for, it was due on a Saturday, I called Thursday, to the prescription line. Friday the pharmacy did not have the medication and wouldn't until Monday, I called and talked to KATIE, I gave her the fax # to the other pharmacy across town (same chain) and said I would go directly there, she said okay, 5 hours later the prescription was still not filled, I sat in my car in 92°weather with no air conditioning with my dog waiting, I had made 3 other calls to check the status, she assured me it was high priority. Yet, she had time to complain to the Dr. claiming I was abusive around 3pm. I was not, she would not answer my questions, and on 2 calls, I thought she had hung up on me, I said hello, hello, and she did not answer so I hung up. She then called my cell phone from a restricted number, left a message for me to call Courtney at the same # I called back, asking for Courtney. KATIE again… answered and read a verbatim note from Dr Dobbs, stating he would release me from the practice if I continued to abuse his staff?? Yes I was frustrated, but never did I ABUSE anyone. Never did I raise my voice or curse, I then recieved a letter releasing me from his practice. NEVER asking OR CARING what REALLY happened, or what my side of the story was. BEWARE of this Dr. And HIS STAFF. Obviously they have no conception of what its like to be on the other side of a frustrating situation. I would not take my dog here.

Rude, arrogant, disrespectful, and incompetant. I went for frequent urination and heart and knee pain. After 30 days of antibiotic treatment I still had same symptoms and he said quote "your just gonna have to deal with it", what kind of doctor says that to a patient in need. Furthermore, he didn't even fill a prescription for swelling that he said would be ready for me at pharmacy. This is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to in 33 yrs!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dobbs since his practice opened 25 yrs ago. The reason why I picked him is because of an incident at shady nook nursing home. He was talking to a pt. and told her she needed to see an eye dr. . I over heard the conversation. The pt. told him she didn't have any money and she needed to give money to the person who would take her. Dr. Dobbs asked her how much she needed and he pulled out his billfold and gave her money so she could go to the eye dr. I made an appoint. That day to see him and is still my dr. 25 yrs later. Dr. Dobbs is a compassionate Dr. Who loves what he does. He too care of my grandmother before she passed and she loved him. Thank you Dr. Dobbs for all you do.

What good is a doctor if he never knows what is going on and can't get you in when you're sick? Rude, disrespectful, arrogant.

Staff was nice. He prescribed medicine and test for me that I he previously already prescribed. He is quite rude, will "NOT" let you finish a sentence! If your looking for a Dr. with bedside manner or one that listens, you will not find it here! He has a laptop computer and still doesn't know what he prescribes.
