Dr. David Melville Donald, MD

Dr Donald was recommended by my GP Dr. when I tested for high psa. After tests showed I had prostate cancer Dr Donald went over my choices and the radiation facility he suggested had the latest equipment. I knew little at the time and was lucky to have received the best treatment. Eight years later my psa is still running almost zero.

This doctor has the worst bed side manners I have ever come across. He was rude, didn't listen, and couldn't wait to get out of the room. I will NEVER go back to this doctor and would recommend you save your time and energy and find a different urologist.

In all of my years going to doctors, this was, by far, the WORST experience I've ever had. His bedside manner is absolutely atrocious. He makes you feel stupid, insignificant, and he can't wait to get you out of the office. Also, after getting a second opinion, most of the medical advice and information he told me was wrong. Honestly, I would suffer through whatever medical issue I had in the future if he was the only urologist left in the world.

The visit was great ! Except over hearing the doctor and Debbie Donald yell and slander their employees. It was very unprofessional and gave a poor out look on the enitire office.

He appeared sloppy, disorganized and very rude. In 63 years have never experienced a doctor who made me feel so uncomfortable and frightened. Could not wait to leave and will not be back.

I was told "deal with it" regarding my kidney stones. Dr. Donald listened to me. His staff were very polite. Able to do lithotripsy.

He is rude, insensitive, does not answer questions, makes you feel as if if you are at fault, criticizes you, belittles you. He grabs your chart, does not make eye contact and in less than 2-3 minutes, he is walking out leaving you upset, scared and worried about your health. I would NOT recommend this doctor.

I went to Dr. Donald because of a problem with leakage and all night visits to the bathroom. He perfomed a procedure that shank my prostate and was told that I wouldn't have an further problems after 3 months. After the third month I still had the problem with a greater amount of leakage and spent more time in the bathroom then before. I made him aware of this, his answer was, I have an over active prostrate and the way it can be cured would be to implant a little electronic gadget someplace near my butt. I disagreed to this solution, cancelled my appoinment, and refused to return. I resigned myself that I would live with my problem and look for another Urologist who may be able to help me.During my general check up with my Cardiologist, I discussed the problem with the prostrate, and the leakage and the nightly visits to the bathroom. "Why sure", he stated, "You've been taking your meds at night, you need to take them in the morning. Otherwise you'll be leaking and running to the… bathroom all night. Did'nt the Urologist tell this when he looked at the medication being taken?"Changing my dosage meds from nights to morning did the trick.Obviously, Dr. Donald does not pay attention to medications being take or his patients needs. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Doctor is like a hummingbird. Flits in and Flits out fast. Does not look you in the eye when you have questions. In a hurry. Lucky if you see him for 3 minutes. Does not like to answer questions about health problem while loved one is in hospital
