Dr. David M Dranetz, MD

I wished I read these before I went to see him. He's a jerk. I suspect some self-righteous position he's taken. Receptionist gave me a weird vibe.

Awful! DO NOT EXPECT HELP HERE! He took my grandmother off multiple medications and when she experienced psychosis and was taken to the ER twice over a weekend, he refused to alter her medication to stabilize her. He had been warned by multiple family members that she was showing signs of spiraling into a manic episode in the weeks before and he refused to schedule an appointment before her already scheduled appointment three months away. When family reached out to ask him to assess her while in the ER he said "there are people there that do that" which was not true. He clearly doesn't care for his patients or their families and has forgotten his oath to do no harm.

Do not go to him. Takes people off medication they need and when my mother went into psychosis would not change her back to meds that worked. He is the a horrible doctor and does not like to help patients.

I was a patient of Dr. Dranetz and he listens. I trust him. He'll make a little small talk. I never experienced anything negative from him.

I waited several weeks to see David Dranetz for a social disorder that had been plaguing me for years. He minimized my issues and proclaimed I was just "a little shy" then proceeded to insult and embarrass me. He's a horrible little man who doesn't deserve to be called a healthcare professional.

I went to Dr. Dranetz for help and that turned out to be the biggest mistake and nearly cost me my life. Dr. Dranetz is snotty and not much of a peoples person. He treats you like a nobody, just some fool who's paying for his kids education. His staff called me 2 hours before my appointment and announced that Dranetz was letting me go as a patient and my appointment for the day was canceled. Dr. Dranetz let me go as a patient and took me off all my meds "cold turkey!" Avoid Dr. David Dranetz if you're having mental health problems. By seeing Dr. Dranetz for could make you worse or cost you your life!

Dr. Dranetz made me feel inconsequential and worthless. I came to him for help with a social disorder and he only made me feel more insecure and frightened. He, in my opinion, exhibits a "holier than thou" type of demeanor and in no way adheres to the hypocritic oath he undoubtably took to "do no harm".

Took me off all of my medications.

Dr. Dranetz is a rude, unprofessional, even cruel individual. The level of his unsympathetic, and uncaring demeanor is incomprehensible. He hides behind his pomp and privilege and passes judgement (not diagnosis) and insults those that come to him for help. I am telling everyone I know how very unprofessional and incompetent I find Dr. Dranetz. I would not recommend him to anyone ever.

Dr. Dranetz has ruined my experience and attitude toward psychiatrists. How can someone who goes into the medical field to help people act like such an arrogant jerk! Dranetz refused to read my list of feelings and symptoms I wrote down, constantly belittled and berated me about anything I had to say. Along with this, he continued to brag about all of his experience and acted better than everyone. I eventually ended up leaving in tears without my problems fixed, and he left me at my mental breaking point.
