Dr. David Gabriel Droller, MD

I was a patient of Dr Drollers from 1983 until 1989 when I moved to Mobile, Alabama. This man virtually saved my life. He became my dr after I had a very intense bout with pneumonia in 1982 and my GP Dr Anne Hendricks sent me to Dr Ken Farrell for follow up visits. It was discovered by Dr Anne that my t cells were 'inverted' which was an early sign of HIV. After serious tests by Dr Farrell and later Dr Droller, it was discovered I had been exposed to Aids and it was the original virus. Dr Droller made sure he saw me every 2 months and when the OIs' began to weaked my immune system, he kept me aware and ahead of the virus. I was ill quite often through the mid 80's with one thing after another and he truly believed Id be dead by age 25. I just turned 57 , have had full blown Aids now for 20 years and HIV for 33 years. This man saved my life. I shocked him and came to Ft Lauderdale 3 years ago and he nearly fainted when he saw me. He had tears in his eyes and when he heard my soft… Alabama accent, he gave me a bear hug. He is A GEM . If you have HIV do not EVER give up hope. It kept me alive and my faith in Christ. IF all physcians cared like this man, we would all be blessed.
