Dr. David Alan Dubow, MD

dr. dubow is the best of the best. i had been diagnosed with a problem which was not the cause of my pain. in agony i went to wake med north and was seen by dr dubow. he immediately pinpointed the cause of the pain, told me what to do and what to expect. i am now doing fine. had dr. dubow not seen me, i could have followed up on an incorrect diagnosis with disastrous results!

I saw this MD in the ER at Wake Med. He was thorough, professional and ensured I received the care needed. I was impressed by his bedside manner as well as his knowledge and ability to provide me with what I needed. The nursing staff Debra and Brenda at the ER were very caring, technically competent and responsive. I would recommend this facility and its staff hands down whenever needed.

I took my son to the Wake Med ER since he was hyper agitated, paranoid and delusional and ask to see the Psychiatrist on duty. My son was seen by Dr Dubow instead who lectured me that my assumptions were wrong, that I could not force my son to do anything since he was 19 and asked my son if he was going to harm himself or his parents. Of course my son said no. Then after a total of ten minutes he released my son and refusing to call the Pschiatrist on duty, provided no referal information or assistance on where to seek follow on help. The bill was over $600. He is not qualified to be a dog catcher let alone a medical professional.
