Great doctor. Helped me with various problems. Easy to make appointments. Usually sees me the same day or next. Very humorous.

I don't like making an appt. and then spending an hour waiting. One time they forgot about me and I had to come back. I'm sure he was a great doc once but now a little long in the tooth... couldn't remember my name while talking to me - got diagnosis completely wrong.

Dr. Duncan is a very caring, empathetic Doctor. He listens to what you say and has a knowledge base that is incomparable. I highly recommend him!

I am giving a poor review for one major reason: Dr. Duncan charges you $200 a year just to see him! This does NOT go toward office charges or ANYTHING. I didn't even end up seeing him. I had THREE appointments with his nurse practitioner and NOT him. So $200 out for what? Nothing! Super frustrated and will not go there again.

Many insurance companies require patients to have referrals from primary care physicians prior to seeing a specialist e.g. cardiologist, ophthalmologists or dermatologists. I was verbally given these referrals by this physician Dr. Duncan upon my appointment. It's been well over 2 weeks and the referrals still have not been faxed to the specialists that Dr. Duncan approved. I have called Duncan's office numerous times to inquire "Why?", only to be told by the staff, the following: (1) "It takes several days", I was told this at least 2 xs - (2) "the person who does the referral transactions is not here today" - (3) "the person you need to speak to will have to call you back", I never received this call - (4) Finally I reached ,the person who was supposed to fax the referrals and was told "I just did this yesterday". After being told that the referrals were faxed, I then called the specialists approved by Dr. Duncan to make an appointment, only to be told by the… specialist's office staff that they have not received any faxed referrals from Dr. Duncan's office. The specialist's office said a referral is not difficult, it's just a matter of faxing the referral to their office. I have reported this to the insurance company, they in turn said they did not understand for such a delay as faxing a referral is a simple process, that it is not a lengthy endeavor. Nonetheless, I will again file another complaint with the insurance company. I deem this as total incompetency and negligence not to mention lack of empathy for patients. In the meantime, I have made another appointment with another PCP for specialist referrals as I do not have time to waste. I was also told to arrive 15 minutes early for the appointment with Dr. Duncan to allow for new patient paperwork to fill out. I was prompt, arriving 20 minutes early and completed the patient history forms as instructed. However the Dr. was 30 minutes late. In essence, I would advise that if you deem your time as valuable, find another PCP as you will spend your time dealing with incompetent office slackers at this facility. Lastly, I don't think my experience warrants even one star rating although in order to do this survey at least one star is required.

I was trying to ignore Dr.Duncan's personal comments that made me uncomfortable,in the beginning. But,then later I was stuck with his rude P.A.who treated me like I had no right to say what I'd let her do to me! She didn't even know what meds.I was taking,and told me to double up on them,when after she'd raised the dosage on one that didn't agree with me,to help with the side effects! And,she told me to keep taking it,even after it was making me sick! And,told me to call her back in a week! Would anybody else keep taking something that caused you to feel worse? And,the receptionist is very rude,bossy,too! All they care about is getting more money any way they can! I have Medicare,and Medicaid. And,they wanted me to pay them $200.00 a year annual fee on top of it!! And,then told me all of the other doctors will be doing the same thing,too! Wrong!! I'd never trust my life in their hands! They need to close up their buisiness before they hurt somebody! I'm also irritated because they've… been calling me too much,about my insurance,when they were already given my ins.cards,etc.,in the beginning! They talk down to me like I'm stupid,when I refuse to let them treat me like dirt! I'm going to a new doctor soon! And,they can't stop me,either! Lol (They should be glad I gave them more opportunities to treat me! But, instead,it only got worse!)

I don't usually write bad reviews, but this was the most awkward doctor's appointment I've ever experienced. I can look past the shoddy location and out dated equipment, but then the doctor came in and asked too many personal questions, even asked my husband how much he makes which I thought was completely inappropriate. And to make it worse he basically called me fat in a few different ways (I realize I'm overweight after having a baby 3 months ago). He also called me "honey" and "baby" which made both my husband and myself uncomfortable. I'll never know if he's actually a good doctor because I can't get past his bed side manner and won't be going back. His nurse was nice when it came to my baby, she thought he was the cutest thing and all that, but her attitude left something to be desired. I figure she just doesn't like her job, and I can't blame her, having to work in a place like that.

I was absolutely terrified. The appointment was completely unprofessional and he crossed personal boundaries. The office professionals were rude. The doctor wasn't even concerned about my physical issues, but rather about my personal life. It was one of the worst appointments I've ever experienced. The environment was un-sanitary and needs to be evaluated by the board of health inspection.

Dr. Duncan has been my doctor for the better part of 30 years and I would have no other. He is the best!!
