Dr. David Dupee, MD

David Dupee, MD, MBA provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and stress-related conditions. He specializes in working with high-functioning professionals navigating burnout, perfectionism, and maladaptive coping behaviors such as overwork and substance use.

His approach is holistic and collaborative. Dr. Dupee integrates psychotherapy, coaching, medication management, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to support overall well-being. As a Sri Lankan American, Dr. Dupee values culturally attuned care and strives to understand how identity and lived experience shape mental health. His practice is centered around each patient’s individual story.

Dr. Dupee has worked extensively at the intersection of medicine and technology. He previously led clinical strategy for health tech startups and contributed to mental health innovation research through Stanford’s Brainstorm Lab. Dr. Dupee completed his psychiatry residency at Stanford University, where he served as Chief Resident. He earned his MD and MBA from Yale University and his BA in Biology and History from Cornell University. He currently serves as adjunct faculty at Stanford University and as a director at a health AI company.
