Dr. David Michael Eggers, MD

Dr Eggers is truly a professional. Very polite, courteous, understanding and takes his time explain issues and procedures. I just had c6/c7 acdf on 4/25/2025 by Dr Eggers and I could not have asked for a better surgeon. After healing from cervical he will be performing lumbar surgery as well. I would definitely recommend Dr Eggers to anyone who is seeking answers in his profession. Dr Eggers and his staff are very knowledgeable, polite and willing to explain any questions you may have. I'm still in gateway hospital in Newburgh, getting released today and would add ,,,,,,,,,this hospital, along with caregivers and anesthesiologist are very polite, and go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Eggers, I cannot thank him enough for getting my life back and not in pain daily.

5 years ago I experienced pain in my lower spine radiating down my leg making it impossible to walk. 2 years the majority of my time was in a wheelchair during activity. After seeing 1 Evansville Neurosurgeon who refused to help I make an appt with De Eggars. He did not stop with the test results from the refusing MD but did further testing showing disc movement. I have been pain free with normal movement since. I will always be forever grateful. Life returned from wheelchair bound to normal.

I was seen in 2012 under workman’s comp insurance. At that time he was very rude and condescending. Anytime I had a question he would wave it off like it didn’t matter. Was just referred to him again for the same issue and was told I have a past due balance with their office and they wouldn’t schedule me until it is paid yet this is the first time I’ve heard anything about a balance. I wouldn’t let him touch my spine in 2012 and I sure won’t let him now in 2019.

Explained mom's surgery needed. Bragged about how many surgeries he's done! Took her in 1 week later. Said surgery should last about 3 hrs. Within 1/2 hr. he was back. Said her back was too messed up for surgery. Duh! Had it changed that much in 1 week? Went to a REAL surgeon and got it taken care of. Wouldn't trust him with a dog!!

I went to see Dr. Eggers after being diagnosed with a meningioma in the right frontal lobe. He took the time to explain my condition and answered all of our questions. I was impressed with the concern that he showed us as well as the amount of time he spent with us during our first visit. A few weeks later, he removed the meningioma. Dr. Eggers is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. In addition, his staff is amazing.

I was in great pain from my back to toe on right side for 1 1/2 years. This greatly affected my quality of life. I saw a Neurosurgeon previously and was told, "My pain was not his problem". I'm so thankful my nurse practitioner had me see Dr. Eggers. He found my nerve problem and did a Lumbar fusion. I am now pain free. Thank you Dr Eggers and his staff.

After receiving botched treatment from Dr. Eggers I was treated very rudely, given no explanation, and shown nothing but callusnous. I highly recommend you see any doctor other than Dr. Eggers.

I had a spinal fusion for leg pain and weakness. When I woke up in recovery, leg pain was gone. Dr. Eggers was very kind and skilled. I highly recommend him.

Dismissive of my back problem without listening. Talked to me and my father like we were stupid, I have an MBA so I can have an intelligent conversation.
