Dr. David Dubose Egleston, MD

I have gone to Dr. Egleston for over 20 years and have been very pleased with his knowledge and caring nature.

This is a physician who possesses the ability to truly listen to the patient, with great bedside manner, compassion and knowledge; I am priviledged to be his patient!

Dr. Egleston & Nurse Practitioner Vicki Kennedy are great! I totally trust them with my health interests. The staff however is TERRIBLE! They have no sense of urgency, do not return phone calls, do not call in prescriptions on a timely basis and more. I have talked with others in the waiting room and they have the same problems.

The office manager should turn that frown upside down. Has no concept of customer service. Said she didn't have time to call my insurance company to confirm eligibility. ...which would take have taken 1-2minutes tops. Her reasoning was that she had "100 other things to do". I hope she gets a sticker. On a better note, I do love the nurse practitioner, Vicki.

Dr. Egleston is great! Listens to everything you have to say and never seems like he is in a hurry. I find his office staff unfriendly though and his nurse never returns phone calls. I can never seems to even get a prescription refilled without coming in.

Engaged and interested. Listens carefully. His observations and questions are insightful. The health care decisions he has made in my behalf have proven successful so far. Particularly good at referrals. Every specialist he has sent me to has provided top rate diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Egleston, his P.A. Vicki Kennedy, and his staff are good listeners and care about their patients. I've never had to wait for my scheduled appointment more than 30 min., and that was because of an emergency---and they kept me updated. They respect that I know more about my body than anyone!

I have been going to Dr. Egleston for 33 years and would never dream of changing doctors. He cares for my mother, daughters, son in law, and husband. He takes time with you and truly takes an interest.

The doctor worked OK, but the billing dept staff were awful: they worked with quest diagnostics to charge a huge bill for something that you can get elsewhere for one tenth of their bill. You will be shocked at the lab bills if you don't ask them before the tests. Be careful: they get paid by quest diagnostics and care nothing about your health care costs.
