Dr. David Anthony Elliott, DO

This is the second time I have seen Dr. Elliott, five years apart. I had the same experience the first time, sarcasm, arrogance, no substance. I asked a question regarding my last colonoscopy and he gave me a sarcastic remark, never answered my question. I cancelled the appointment My opinion is he hates his job. Zero bedside manor. The one star is for his staff. They were nice.

Dr. Elliott has been my doctor for 10 years, he saved my life! His staff has really improved without Jackie there she was so rude to me and my mother and treated me like I was nobody. I really love how I feel with all the girls in the office now.

Dr. Elliott has been my gastro md for 20 years. Guided me through Hep C. All clear labs for 8 years now! Endoscopy and 3 colonoscopies. Most recent one was yesterday. Look... no one is going to want a colonoscopy... but a non desired experience can still be a well handled experience. And that’s what I received. My doctor is professional and pleasant. The surgical staff also treated me with a smile and attentiveness! Thank you Dr. Elliott and your staff!!

You can experience the worst of the worst with "Jackie" office manager. Horror to deal with.. After I was coming out of anesthesia the "Dr"? started barking orders at me before I completely awake. Never did understand a thing he said to me. There are many other and better choices. Make a better choice for yourself.

I have been seeing Dr. Elliott for years. Colonoscopies are no fun for anybody, but Dr. Elliott makes an embarrassing moment more comfortable. Thank you so much for being there when I needed you most!

Silly me! I actually thought the Dr. would read the questionnaire I spent 20 minutes filling out!

My regular gastro doctor wasn't available at Martin Memorial Hospital. Dr Elliott saved my life and got my colitis under control

Not only does Dr. Elliott keep it straight forward with me (unlike sugar coating doctors who are only after your money), his attentiveness, knowledge and experience are overall great. I've been his patient for a few years. The office staff has always seemed short handed but they are awesome and friendly women. Contrary to these other comments, I find his nurse Courtney by far an all around wonderful lady. She helped me tremendously in obtaining assistance for my medications. The other lady in the front, Jackie has always been a doll. This office works hard for what they are dealt with from my observations. I'll refer anyone.

I have been going to Dr. Elliott for 10 plus years now and should have know better to go back...I agree with all the other on his staff, him, trying to contact the office, return phone calls. I recently seen Dr. Elliiot about three weeks ago. Called and left 2 message with front desk, 2 with Courtney, 2 with him and 2 faxes. Never a response unitl just last week. I was trying to explain as apparently on one listen to my messages. Then Courtney told me that they didn't care about my problem and that was the LAST STRAW!! I just hung up and not heard from anyone since. I faxed a message which I am sure Dr. Elliott does care, but told them all if they don't care then forget it! I am done and will never go back. Before that I was giving some medication for possible IBS and called the office to make sure all was good with the meds I was on and if there would be any side effects...they said "No"....well, less than 20 minutes I was rushed to the ER for Acute Pancretitis...from the… medication...been trying to figure out was is wrong...They don't care!! I think he thinks he is beyond and above all and the mose handsome one around...Looks is not everythingn...He has done nothing to help me....I think I will contact my insurance coompany to report what was stated to me last week. He should give it up!!!

My ER visit required a colonoscopy to confirm a CT scan. Dr Elliott didn't introduce himself to me and never spoke with me afterwards. 4 days of leaving messages to please have him call me because of 4 days of black watery stools after the colonoscopy (17 total!) there was no reply from him or his office. After 96 hours the report was online for me to view through the hospital portal. I've decided to find another doctor. No one deserves to be treated this way by a doctor or his uncaring staff who told me that 'he says our salary, we don't pay his' and I said, 'excuse me, I'm the patient and I'm paying BOTH your salaries' to which they hung up on me!! Very bad manners from this doctor and his staff.
