Dr. David Michael Emanuel, MD

I needed my wisdom teeth removed and I'm in my fifties. Dr. Emanuel was relaxed, friendly, and totally professional. I had a quick recovery and it was a great improvement to my teeth--and my life! It ended a lot of dental problems I was having.

dr. emanuel himself and his assistants were amazing! i have an anxiety disorder and they were so helpful and thorough with me (i got all of my wisdom teeth removed). they gave me so many options and offered their best opinions. they made me feel so comfortable. as for the front desk staff—a bit rude as others would say. if you can get past the front office, dr. emanuel and his team are phenomenal!

Dr. David M. Emanuel, D.M.D., M.D. is a godsend who truly provides comprehensive treatment to patients based on their medical and dental needs. I had an urgent need to extract a molar tooth #15 but due to taking bone medication for osteoporosis, I was informed I was at high risk for complications. In addition, taking antibiotics before and after the extraction could exacerbate a current GI issue. Dr. Emanuel consulted with my other medical specialists and devised a plan to successfully extract my molar. I appreciated how he walked me through the whole procedure, while keeping me completely at ease during the process. The extraction was over before I knew it. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Emanuel and his staff to anyone requiring oral surgery.

In the course of going to him for various dental issues, Dr. Emanuel has, on several occasions, made us aware of other issues or conditions which were previously undiagnosed. His thoroughness, professionalism, and compassion for everyone he treats, is second to none. Very few doctors are like that these days. And very few maxillofacial doctors are actual M.D.s in addition to being D.M.D.s. Dr. Emanuel is both an MD and a DMD. In Massachusetts, most "doctors" with this title are strictly DMDs. If I'm going to need a procedure, especially one that requires any type of anesthetic - I want an MD. In my book, Dr Emanuel is the best in the area, if not the state.

Dr. Emanuel is a six star doctor! He really cares about his patients so much and helps you when you need it!

Doctor Emanuel did my wisdom teeth during the summer of 2018. He made sure I was completely comfortable with everything that was going on. His staff was equally as caring and made sure that the patient was the main concern, not simply the removal of wisdom teeth. My recovery was easy and relatively painless, which I credit Dr. Emanuel with.

I called Dr. Emanuel's dental office to seek his opinion as a colleague (I am a physician) and one of his patients, on an uncommon post dental work problem happening during my son's visit, 48 hrs prior, with another dentist. Unable to attend my call instead they scheduled an appointment time for my son. During registration at the dental office they requested for an upfront payment of $340, since his insurance provider was not on their list. My son asked the secretary at the front desk to be billed, to which she responded that it was not possible. Than I asked as a physician, if I could have a word with the dentist as I was very concern, to which the secretary in a very abrasive way responded that I couldn't, even without asking the doctor. Unfortunately, my son was not prepared for the unreasonably high cost of that visit,and neither I, or my son were able to briefly see the dentist.

Though it was a standard procedure of pulling a tooth far back in my mouth, I was quite nervous. He was kind and explained everything he would do. He continued to ask if I was ok while he was extracting the tooth. It was out before I knew it. His assistant was kind and kept talking to me while we waited for Dr. Emanuel came into the room.

Dr. Emanuel did a great job with my wisdom teeth removal. He put me at ease so I was comfortable going into surgery. I had no pain and no unpleasant side effects. He also took the time to talk to me both in the days before and days after surgery. I recommend him highly!
