Dr. David Andrew Epstein, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Epstein for 7 years now, In the beginning I too felt he was deep, and uncaring. At that time I was doing all the wrong things and he knew it, smoking partying etc..... After my last scare of loosing my legs I was scared straight !!! I thank him for being a NO-NONSENCE DOCTOR. I LOVE AND RESPECT HIM. Thank-you for being you.

To put it lightly.. Dr. Epstein is an a******. His bedside manner is severely lacking. He spent five minutes with me and made multiple underhanded, rude comments. He ignored concerns that had been brought up by my other doctors and told me he couldn’t help me. The fact that he couldn’t help me isn’t what I was upset about.. it was his incredibly rude comments and tone of voice. I left the office almost in tears. He clearly resents his patients and any other medical professionals who disagree with him in any capacity. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Epstein was my husbands physician while in Winchester Virginia. He can not be beat in any way; his priority is the well being of his patients and it shows. I was so upset when he told us during our visit with him that he was moving to Ohio. Our loss Ohio's gain.

This doctor scared my husband into a surgical procedure that the rest of his medical team advised against due to it not being the primary concern. His surgical incompitance wreaked havoc on my husband's body. His carelessness during the procedure cut off the blood supply to one of my husband's kidneys as well as created a bowel obstruction which required another doctor to intercede. He is not a team player by any means and disregards all other medical professionals opinions. He refuses to follow up on known mistakes and denies any copability for his wrong doings. Basically I feel that his paycheck is more important than the care and wellbeing of his patients. I would not reccomend his services or medical advice in any avenues.

Really rude and insulted all previous medical professionals.

I have known Dr. Epstein since 2005 and I have had several surgerys done by him. I have all the faith in the world in his skills. I also really like his follow up and bedside manner. I don't know of a surgeon who I could more highly recommend.
