Dr. David Samuel Eskreis, MD

My wife saw him for an assessment for an ongoing and painful condition. To be direct, this doctor was so condescending, smug, and unhelpful. You could tell his main priority was making money in his recommendations, and not patient care. He made my wife feel very uncomfortable in a creepy kind of way. We couldn’t believe what we were experiencing. I’d avoid David Eakreis and see somebody more qualified and with nicer bedside manner.

My daughter spent 3 years in severe abdominal pain. She started with a pediatric gastroenterologist. Moved to an adult gastroenterologist who was kind and tried everything. She referred us to a doctor at Emory to get a second opinion on her condition. The doctor she recommended was booked so we agreed to see Dr. Eskreis. What a mistake. The first thing Dr. Eskreis did was book a lucrative colonoscopy. We heard nothing after the procedure. We had to search out the results by scheduling another appt. His report - no problems. My daughter was in sever pain "knife running through her intestines." After 3 months when we called to find out the next step we were told Dr. Eskreis wanted to do another colonoscopy. Dr. Eskreis was so rude he even sarcastically said, "What do you want me to do shoot you up with Remicade!" He said so many arrogant comments! He also told her to see a psychiatrist! Thankfully, Dr. Eskries had a competent nurse practitioner who suggested my daughter see a… rhuematologist. My daughter was put on Humira within 4 days after her first rhuematologist appt and her pain was gone! After 3 years of severe pain, a competent doctor diagnosed her and treated her after one appt - a physical exam and some tests. So Dr. Eskreis sarcastic, rude, arrogant remark turned out to be the solution. If his ego had not been in the way maybe he could have found the problem like Dr. Alan Kramer did.

His office billed the wrong code to my insurance and would not fix it because they were more interested in making extra money. I had to pay $1000 for a routine colonoscopy which I have never done in the 15 years I have done them with any other doctor. They are rude, money hungry and have no care for their clients.

Excellant, down to earth, caring Doctor that is right on top of things.I would recommend him.
