Dr. David Reza Farzan, MD

I saw Dr Farzan for 5 years but never thought of him as 'my doctor.' And I agree with these points that I copied directly from reviews (these sites don't generally accept 'my' reviews for this dr. So:.......is paranoid of patients ulterior motives......his faith in patients' honesty is lacking, and misunderstood......The most disorganized, rude & ignorant arrogant physician EVER!......I didn't feel respected......Didn't listen or answer questions......Didn't explain conditions well......Appointment was rushed......Didn't trust the provider's decisions." All I can say is he treated, or mis- and maltreated me the entire time, and I've always wondered what he wrote that made the next doctor even colder and meanspirited. So all of the above, times 10, times 10 again.

Dr. Tarzan hasbeen caring for me for many years now. He shows compassion and diagnoses properly. After abnormalities showed up on a brain scan he left me his personal cell number to reach him asap. There's no doctor out there that would do that. He follows up with me either personally or his assistant calls. If your expecting to spend an hour with a doctor then complain to the insurance companies. They control everything. I recommend him and his staff.

Not very understanding of patient situations, and not well able to identify patient needs, never mind address patient needs properly. Bedside Manner leaves much kindness and empathy to be desired.

Unbelievable how bad the staff treats there patients especially the supervisor Amy the doctor doesn't care about his patients well being at all stay far away from this place trust me unreal what they put you through

Pressed this doctor has been nothing shot of amazing I been seen him for over 15 years I can honestly say I would not be alive today if not for his skills, If I could give him 10 stars I would.

I have seen Dr. Farzan for many years. He is always willing to take an extra minute to answer questions.

He’s patient I have had for the last 3 years he’s amazing

Gives prescriptions without even examining the patient fully. Gave my Mother's Medicines to my father and Vice Versa. No follow up on test done unless we call.

We saw Dr Farzan on follow up with my father after he returned from a 2 week ICU admission. He says " He is on too many medicines" Without reading his discharge summary. then says we dont need to do all the follow up labs requested by the doctors at MGH. He did a few tests and then called us back and said' " We think your father has diabetes.". I told him.. YES he has been a diabetic for 30 years on Insulin and the " MAny Medicines". Maybe if he read his pateint's charts and knew a little bit of medicine he may even be able to wing this! Terrible Physician; (listens to my dad's heart while my dad has a winter coat on!) Even pretend doctors do better! Most Uncaring and ignorant physician we have ever dealt with. The ICU sent a home visiting nurse and asked us to make sure his PCP continued with home nursing care so he wouldnt rebound back to the ER. HE tells us if he is ambulating he doesnt get a Home nurse. WHERE IS THIS DOCTOR FROM!

Initially, Dr. Farzan popped, he was good diagnostically, and pretty rapid with dx, accurate, as well. When things went south, is when practice went solo. I DID refer my friend to him. She kept showing me the mark on the back of her leg. All docs saw her, and they all SAID it was nothing. Denial, perhaps. However, again she asked me, and I finally told her to REQUEST a skin biopsy. She was like me, she could not, would not sue to make money, this disgusts me, and it did her as well. But she is no longer here. And I was hurt, as well. For years ,I got no treatment, as I was told nothing could be done, about the things that were wrong with me. They were treated cheaply with drugs. I know many would sue. This is just beneath me. Take responsibility for YOUR OWN MEDICAL CARE.
