Dr. David Mitchell Fink, MD

No one likes that yearly ob-gyn appointment, but the staff at Dr. Fink's office was courteous and nice. Dr. Fink himself, had me very relaxed after our initial meeting and the procedure was done and over-with before I knew it.

For years I complained about my endometriosis and that I was concerned about "what could be going on in there". Dr. Fink told me I was almost in menopausal age and that would take care of it. I finally had enough and got 2nd opinion. She sent me for MRI and found 3 masses. Fast forward 2weeks and I on the OR table for SEVEN hours as she removed all the endo and scar tissue. If you have issues, go to someone who takes you seriously. NOT Dr. Fink.

Drove an hour and a half through two pregnancies, because I refused to change doctors. I love Dr. Fink. His staff are all wonderful, as well.

I would absolutely not recommend him to anyone. I went to him for my first OB appointment and they could not find a heartbeat, turns out I was having a miscarriage. He was so cold about it. I had a d&c and at all the follow-ups he was very abrupt and the only answers were "you're young and healthy". HIs staff is very unprofessional. On my second follow up I had to listen to them talk about some old coworker and use the F word a lot. The first visit they were talking about what patients do... horrible doctor. I switched right away after 3 visits total.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He was my doctor while I was pregnant with my triplets. They were naturally occurring and I was a young first time mom. He could NEVER remember my name, OR that I was carrying triplets. And from his staff I was told I was the only patient pregnant with triplets at the time. He literally forgot who I was every single appointment (and because I was high risk I had a TON of appointments). It was so frustrating. I felt like a number. It was horrible. It got to the point that my husband got very upset and wanted me to switch doctors because he felt like Dr. Fink just didn't give a crap about me or our unborn babies. But I was so far along I was nervous about doing so. I will NOT be returning to him for my next pregnancy or ever. He also talks really quickly and just honestly does not seem to care much. And dealing with pregnant women I feel like you need to be more passionate and CARE about your patients. ALSO he didn't even show up for my… delivery! I had a complete stranger doctor at the hospital perform my c-section and luckily she did an excellent job but I was so nervous and it just was not a good experience. PLEASE find another doctor especially if you have a high-risk pregnancy!!! PLEASE find someone else!

I would not recommend him to any friend or relative, office staff was very unfriendly, was more interested in one of the worker (celebrating) her birthday then the patient.

Dr. Fine delivered my two sons. He was very caring during my pregnancy. I called the office frequently with questions both he and his staff took the time to answer my questions and at times I felt as though I was his only patient! We have moved to Bethany Beach and I will make the trip!

I found out I was pregnant at 48 and this guy berated me about how foolish I was for not being careful. He made it clear that these late pregnancies almost always end in miscarriage. So thoughtless! Indeed I did have a miscarriage 2weeks later when my husband was out of the country and his handling of me was far crude. Think twice before making an appointment. Have a feeling that it was easy to get an appointment there b/c of his inability to keep patients.

The staff is not very friendly only to those they like. I was a new patient and the didn't want to answer my questions. Dr. fink came in the room the so called breast exam consisted of him poking each breast once while he asked me questions. It was not an exam at all. Also, my pap was not very thorough. I had questions and he acted as if I was bothering him. He told me if I did not hear from him in a couple weeks my pap was normal. Over a month went by and no call. Then a little over a month he calls saying I had abnormal results. How inconsiderate to wait that long to call a patient with abnormal results. The office waited to send me a bill for the remaining balance. Upon receiving the bill a week later I got a call that the office sent me to collections. Absolutely ridiculous! I will NEVER go to this doctor or his office again. If you care about your health and credit don't do it.

Aloha, I highly recommend the Doc. He is a great doctor who cares, I had my daughter 10 years ago. I haven't forgotten how much he cares for his patients to make them at easy and answer any questions. If I didn't live so far away now he still would be my doc. I also refer my friends to him.
