David Fitzhugh

Excellent, efficient, and skilled staff. Dr. Fitzhugh is a breath of fresh air amongst doctors I've utilized the last 20 years for myself and loved ones. My asthma alone was severely neglected by many many PCPs and emergency clinicians. Bearing in mind we have to tweak the plan often, I truly breathe so much easier now, thanks to David Fitzhugh. My hesitation to medicate daily, needing treatment every day, was put to rest. He reviewed the effects of my asthma on my life, the rest of my body, and intelligently convinced me we needed to do it. I don't have allergies. Just craptastic lungs and bronchi.But, we tested for allergies to the nth degree. Very laid back, easy testing, after carefully answering all my questions about the process. If I did have allergies, I welcome them to try getting in the ring with Fitzhugh, so I could watch him pummel the crud outta those immunoglobulins! After several other frustrating visits with other providers, I was incredibly impressed with Dr. Fitzhugh and his approach. He's a great listener and thinker. I loved the way he approached the problem. He thought it through with me, talked through options and we came up with a treatment plan. Just a couple months later, my life has been changed (not an exaggeration). I'm deeply grateful to Dr. Fitzhugh and his amazing staff for their expertise and care. If you're struggling with allergies, run don't walk to setup an appointment. He's truly an expert who will do everything in his power to help you.

Visiting Allergy Partners of Chapel Hill is hands-down the best experience I have had visiting a medical professional. The staff and Dr. Fitzhugh are helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. I had terrible allergies, as well as asthma which had not been diagnosed by another doctor even when I asked about it, and Dr. Fitzhugh helped get them all under control. Whenever I have had questions, he has quickly responded via the patient portal, and any time I've needed help with scheduling or insurance, Jan has been a tremendous help. If you have any allergy troubles, I cannot recommend visiting Allergy Partners more highly!

Visited Allergy Partners last week and I already feel dramatically better. Dr. Fitzhugh was able to determine the root cause of my eye allergies, and also determine the best course of action to minimize them. I'm thankful for his advice, and also for the friendly and helpful nature of his staff. Tyrell made me feel at ease, even though I was admittedly a bit nervous about having to have multiple allergy tests run. He took the time to explain what I would feel, how long it would last, and what was normal and not normal. I appreciated that greatly. I honestly cannot recommend this team enough.

My entire life I have always struggled with allergies, but when I moved to North Carolina they were exacerbated. I came to Allergy Partners, and it has been the first office to truly help me control my allergies. I have been receiving treatments at Allergy Partners for just over a year, and my allergies have improved tremendously. Furthermore, Dr. Fitzhugh and the staff are the most welcoming group of people I have ever met at a medical practice. Dr. Fitzhugh listens well to what his patients are saying and answers questions in a way that you can easily understand. Furthermore, the staff at Allergy Partners are the nicest people I have met, and they make it easy when you are visiting multiple times a week for allergy shots. I would highly recommend that if you have allergy problems that you come to Allergy Partners.

Dr. Fitzhugh is a doctor of old, the kind who takes his time and makes sure you are comfortable and understand all diagnostic measures, issues and treatments. He is kind and extremely knowledgeable.

I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Fitzhugh. I'd always known I have some sort of allergies and, at age 27, I decided to finally get a handle on things and figure out what was really going onâ?¦ I was able to miraculously get a same day appointment, get tested, and walk away with a diagnosis (severely allergic to almost all environmental allergens-- not surprised) AND suggestions for future treatment plans all within a few hours. Dr. Fitzhugh was so gracious with his time and stayed quite late to help me understand the details of my diagnosis and talk though the options for the future. He has been quite available with follow up questions as wellâ?¦ Just an overall professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful doctor. You will be in great hands if you visit him.

My son has suffered from allergies for a long time. I googled for providers in my area and Dr. Fitzhugh came highly recommended. I scheduled an appointment and the staff was very friendly. I received all my patient forms via the portal (super convenient and efficient) and upon arrival was seen immediately!! After some testing we met Dr. Fitzhugh and had a talk and I must say it is always good when a provider is genuinely asking you health questions to come to a conclusion and find a solution for your health need and that is exactly what he did. I truly appreciate providers like Dr. Fitzhugh that still operate for a cause and not a business, a rare find and will definitely recommend to any allergy sufferers :)

When I called to get an appointment, I was accommodated for the very next day, which I greatly appreciated as I was in a lot of discomfort. Having worked with many medical personnel over the years, I was VERY impressed with the customer service, professionalism of staff, and personal attentiveness and clear explanations by Dr. Fitzhugh. Truly an outstanding experience! I have already recommended him to my colleagues.
