Dr. David Flemig, MD

David Flemig, MD, is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine who is dedicated to helping patients live as fully and comfortably as possible. His care philosophy focuses on supporting each person to spend as much time as possible being themselves and doing the things they enjoy. Dr. Flemig has a special interest in hospice and palliative medicine, as well as serious illness communication, and works closely with patients and families to provide compassionate, thoughtful care during serious illness.

Dr. Flemig earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He completed medical school at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Medicine at the University of Kentucky. Outside of …work, Dr. Flemig enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings.
