Dr Fletcher for whatever reason does not instill trust or confidence I would not recommend him

I think a lot of people just like to complain, my experience was quite the opposite. I had a work related injury and Dr. Fletcher was absolutely professional, this man has a 12 page resume. 33 + years experience, he served our country and I believe he is honorable. I read in this forum that one individual had back pain and he put him on light duty. Probably because he also has back problems as do I. I was told I had the lower back of a 70 year old 20 years ago, an L5 inset 9mm and needed surgery. I never got the surgery I just did exercises and stayed off my behind. I seen doctor Fletcher have surgery on his back and wait on patients shortly after his release. Did he take all the time off he should have? No! He got up and helped others in his care. I had C6 radiculapathy with multiple other symptoms from my injury and he never gave up on me. I was treated with nothing but respect and courtesy. As far as the staff, there were times I was at my lowest and they would actually make me… smile. I was always greeted with a smile and a Hello, never once was I treated unfair.

The only reason this guy is busy would be that he practices industrial medicine at rates below any other doctor. He is essentially a shill for insurance companies and employers. His staff is incompetent. Their policies and practices are a joke ... and it is highly unlikely that he is actually going to examine you. That is done by his inept PAs. If you have to go through pre-employment with these guys, prepare to get screwed if you have any medical history. They'll demand all of your medical records on your first appointment without ever examining you, thus pushing your potential start date back. Keep in mind that they usually give themselves a week or more to review your medical questionnaire from your pre-employment screening. They just don't look at it until just before they're supposed to examine you. They then push off their work of requesting records on to you. Now once you fullfill their demand of records, don't expect them to actually do their job. They'll sit on… those records for another 3-5 days ... pushing your start date back further, endangering your tentative employment offer. At that point they'll demand some sort of release from your doctor clearing you for work ... and then they'll deny you employment ... not because they actually looked at your medical records. Not because they actually understand your medical records. Not because they have talked with your doctor. Not because they have talked to you, asked you a single question, or even examined you .. but because they get paid if you get a job or not. They honestly don't care if you lose your home waiting for them. Lose a car. Lose your utilities. They don't care if you passed on other job opportunities or interviews. They get paid and if they think, despite what a doctor that knows what they're talking about says, that your medical history isn't "suitable" for the position .... completely misdiagnosing and misunderstanding your medical history ... you will be denied employment. This process takes a month or longer. They don't really care to do their jobs and are really indifferent about the people sent to them for physicals. They get paid for the appointment. If you have a hang-nail in your medical history .... they're going to push you out the door while still getting paid from the companies they're contracted with. My advice is that when you hear this doctor's name or "Safeworks" ... and you have a medical history .... save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Awful Doctor! Gets paid from Insurance Companies to say whatever they need him too. No bedside manner and diagnosis was made even before examination.

Dangerous physician!

Work comp injury. Dr Fletcher is definitely not for the employees... I told Dr. Fletcher that I can't sit or stand longer than 20 mins. without having severe back pain. He sent back to work on light duty with the restrictions that I am only allowed to sit and stand. He doesn't listen or isn't a people's person...

His staff was rude, He was rude. Treated me like a nobody. I spent all day there. A lot of sitting and waiting.

Fletcher has no people skills ~ actually threw a CD to me(I wasn't expecting it and did not catch it) when I said I wanted to see the x-rays and MRI... also, was chomping (not just chewing) gum during both appointments ~ NO people skills!!!!

I too have to disagree with the negative comments. Yes, sometimes the wait is longer than most of us would prefer, but the quality of care Dr. Fletcher gives is well worth a few extra minutes. My case is a workers comp and Dr. Fletcher has gone above and beyond in not only treating me, but advocating for me. Dr. Fletcher has taken a very active stance in caring for me and my injury. Dr. Fletcher does thorough exams and is very knowledgable. Dr. Fletcher came up with a plan of action when it came to fixing and helping heal my injury. Dr. Fletcher has done an excellent job at making sure that all of my questions are answered and concerns are addressed. There are times that I have forgotten to ask a question during my appointment and I will send Dr. Fletcher an email when I get home asking and he always responds back in a timely manner, I respect that.I would highly recommend Dr. Fletcher and his entire team at Safeworks. You will be in excellent hands from the minute you walk in… until you are completely healed.

I also had shoulder surgery and seen Dr Fletcher he recommended further evaluations and possible surgery. Was sent back to work could not perform job, benifits were cut off. Work comp did not follow his instructions. Took 1yr,a lawyer, and another evaluation from him now work comp agreed to more tests and possible surgery if needed. I believe he is very honest and fair. He has no control over the insurance company.
