Dr. David Wayne French, MD

He is a good Dr. From what I can tell the few minutes I see him. The office from from to back is just Horrible. They are Not on Top of what they are to do. Can't get medicine refills. They put you on Hold and Never come back. Had blood work done and had to call and ask for the results.Was Promised a Call Back 2 or 3 Times that Never Came. If You want and Care About Your Health That is Not the Place!! He has Over Extended Himself! Office staff is Just a Joke

I have been seeing Dr, French ever since I moved into this area. I could not ask for a better Primary Physician.

Very efficient, good diagnostician, friendly and helpful staff!

I tried to get in to see Dr. French asap and was told I had to wait 2 weeks and, at 8:30 in the morning all the work ins had been filled for the day!!! What is a sick person to do? I love him as my doctor and do not like seeing nurse practioners. Why are the front office double booking appointments???? Please, let those who need a doc see him??? Since Baptist took over it has been nearly impossible to see him. Please fix this!!!!!

I was.a patient of Dr.Frenches for many years.When he hired his new nurse.She took a disliking to me on the first visit.I contacted Dr.French many times on this matter before he became Baptist Health and even after.Nothing was done.So I almost died because she would not give him my messages.I ended up in a Nashville Hospitial the week of Thanksgiving.I finally contacted Baptist Health to get this matter taken care of.I had to go through 3 Diffrent people.Had Dr.French listened to me as his Patient .I would have never gotten so sick.So I would not go to him as a Doctor.Unless you want to get very sick and maybe worse.I had to file a Grievence against his Nurse.And he dismissed me as a Patient for telling his Nurse off.I did not cuss this girl.But the letter he sent me said he dismissed me Because he could not take care of my Medical Conditions anymore.But we know the real reason.I would not recommend him as a good Family Physician...Teresa Law

dr. french is a astute care giver who is a great asset to this area .his compashan for the comfort of his patients is unsurpassed. he is kind cheerful and always concerned with your individual problems .i have been going to dr. david for close to twenty years and i trust him completely .a short time ago my pain doctors had to close there practice in a very short time like within a week of the place having its principal owner investigated .i was in shock so i called doc french and he said i will find you a new clinic to go to and i thanked him profusely and he said i will find you a place stop your worrying ,you dont think id let ya hang out and dry i promise i will find you another clinic .well someone else bought the clinic i was going to and we dident have to find another place ,but he calmed me of my fear and made me feel like he wasent gonna forget me .and the news paper was saying that there were no other clinics around and all the ones that were around were full and that most of… the rural clients would have to go on heroin ,so now you know why i was so upset.but doc reasured me he would find me a place and i would definately not have to become a addict lol.this may seem silly to you but when the news paper says your only choice is gonna be street drugs it does get your attention. so i just cant say enough good things about dr french and his staff,i wouldent go anywere else .

Spend hours there. Never even saw the doctor just the nurse ?????

Would not recommend. He needs to check out his Patients more thoroughly before writing Pain Scripts. People are using him to get extra Pills

I would not recommend Dr. French - the wait in his office is very long - when my brother was dying & in Caldwell Hospital & awaiting transfer to Vanderbilt, Dr. French was the attending physician & he never once came into the room to speak to my brother or check on his condition - I found this very negligent & nearly unforgiveable.
