Dr. David Wayne Friedman, MD

I wish I had read these reviews before going to this doctor. Everything they say is true. This doctor is rude. Talks over you and gets very annoyed if you ask him to listen to whst you are saying. Had surgery one year ago. Every follow up I complained of pain and sleep deprivation. I found out later my chart always said patient is having no pain. I challenged him about falsifying my medical record and he literally said it's no big deal. My last visit, I repeatedly asked for my concerns to be documented and the nurse practitioner swore he was writing everything in my chart. When I checked a few weeks later all the notes are missing. This is not only poor practice, it's fraud. I cant even get Cleveland clinic to send me the medical records of who erased my chart. My hand is permanently damaged and there's nothing i can do except warn others.

Very disappointed

This doctor should be disciplined. He does not explore options and goes directly to surgical procedures. Injected Xiaflex in hand/fingers in the most painful experience imagined. He then refuses to answer questions or give directions. Procedure was a failure and fingers are worse that before procedure. Do not use the doctor if you care about your hand/fingers.

Although Dr.Friedman is a excellent surgeon his *Patient interaction needs a major improvement. Staff tolerates his behavior. C.E.O. Should speak to this doctor to improve his actions.

Dr. Friedman seems too be not focusing on patient concerns and also after surgical feedback. Although a good surgeon but gives the impression of uncaring.

He was dismissive and belittling. He walked out of the room while I was describing my concerns, did not recommend a treatment plan, and essentially told me to "get over it". He was rude to his staff in the room and cut them off mid sentence. He questioned my symptoms despite my past diagnosis and medical treatment from other doctors (recently moved). It seems I was a waste of his time and he only cares about patients he can operate. However, the rest of the staff in the room were lovely and seemed a bit embarrassed by the situation.

Saw Dr. Friedman for swollen and painful left hand on Wednesday, I had been self-treating for a week. One cortisone injection into thumb joint & 3 days later all swelling & pain had subsided with complete return of function! Thank you Dr. Friedman!! Gerald S. Linder, M.D. !

I went to have my wrist checked after a fall that required shoulder surgery. He was rough with my wrist and I was sore after the visit. He seemed upset that I made an appointment since it wasn’t a major issue.

Very disappointing and upset with the visit. Great doctor, I'm sure. however, if you have a simple issue such as I did (broken finger) he will blow you off and spend about 1 minutes and 30 seconds with you. more time spent with the X-ray tech and my closing words with him were handled in the hallway.

Didn't even see him for a full 5 minutes. Didn't recommend anything useful.
