Dr. David Paul Furman, MD

Dr. Furman has served as the Section Chief for Computed Tomography for St. Luke's University Health Network since 2006.
-Responsible for oversight, development and implementation of protocols and practices related to the CT section
-Currently spearheads a CT section effort to minimize radiation doses based on implementation of advancing technology, use of progressive CT protocols, physician education and patient education
-Pioneered a CT Coronary Angiography Program at St. Luke's in 2006, which resulted in more than 450 Coronary CT Angiogram cases in its first two years
-Was in the first group of physicians in 2008 to be certified by the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography
-Received subspecialty training in CT, MRI and Ultrasound during a Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, which was completed in 2004
-Member of the following medical societies:
