Dr. David Willson Gale, MD

I’ve been Dr. Gale’s patient for nearly 13 yrs, refusing to see others doctors at the practice. He’s an excellent physician; competent, skilled, patient and understanding. I drive all the way from Alpharetta to Marietta to see him, which is no small task in Atlanta traffic. HOWEVER, the Marietta facility is extremely GHETTO!! Nurses and administrative staff use cell phones while assisting you, have inappropriate side conversations with each other, laugh, giggle and carry on unprofessionally, all in the presence of patients. Many of them are heavily tattooed, contumelious, aggressive, unqualified and presumptuous, with no bedside manner! If you want to visit a circus, you’ll fit in. However, most people in chronic pain are not interested in that. A PA is a “mini dr” and I expect them to be highly accomplished, practiced, efficient, kind and RESPECTFUL. You will NOT get that at Marietta. Eventually you start to ask how much unprofessionalism is tolerable just to see a dr when there are… orthopedic doctors all over Atlanta. I’d hate to leave Dr. Gale bc he’s become like a friend to me but things are certainly looking grim.

I can't say enough about Dr. Dave Gale. He is the kindest and most professional doctor I have ever seen. He listens and really cares about your issues. He has saved me on more than one occasion with my back pain. I just hope he never retires!

I met Dr. Gale in 2003 prior to my neck fusion. I had been anaphylactic after 2 prior surgeries. He spent hours going over my records and meeting with me. He discovered, since I was highly allergic to latex, that the medicine bottles had latex rubber stoppers. Also, some IV equipment back then had latex in them. He made sure, when I had my neck fusion, to make all medial personnel aware of my allergies and to pop off the tops of all medical vials prior to giving medicine to me. I had a successful surgery and no reaction. I keep his letter that he wrote to me about my allergies and precautions doctors should take, with me at all times. I greatly appreciate Dr. Gale and the time he spent with me and research he did for me. No doctor has ever taken this much time to try and figure out how to keep me alive after a medical procedure! I had a cervical Facet Radiofrequency Neurotomy today.Sept 11.2018 They were all so polite and explained everything. Thank you for making me so Comfortable. I went in a little scared.Needless to say my Anisthelogist (?) was so Funny I really Love the whole family at Alliance Spine and pain. I will always use them.

I was a patient of Dr. Gale for 8 years. My meds were changed almost every month and injections given every time I would agree and insurance would pay, even though not one ever helped at all. Now you could say he was fervently searching for a solution to my problem....except that one time when he was on vacation I was assigned to Schaufale and then they just kept me on his rotation. Best thing that could have happened because in just a few months I was approved for back surgery. The surgeon said I was bone on bone and should have been there long before. I have permanent nerve damage that I am still treated for but I made the choice to leave their practice after all I went through.

I have been with the good doctor for a number of years.. He is one of the few doctors who really tries to see the "person" and not just the illness. He has encouraged me on more than 1 occasion. He is professional to the letter but most don't see dry sense of humor and compassion. If you get him, he will get you.

i didn't find him rude. He is a very busy doctor so it took awhile for my first appointment, however, after that my needs were addressed promptly. He is to the point and matter of fact which some may confuse as rude.

He tried to bully me into getting a procedure and when I refused he tried to refuse me my prescription.then kicked me out his practice. Hope he loses his license!

Would not even give me a new patient appointment because I was going to a different doctor. Why is the definition of Second Opinion???
