Dr. David Robert Gallatin, MD

Run. He doesn’t listen. Doesn’t run appropriate bloodwork for yearly physicals, even when prescribing medications where blood should be monitored. He doesn’t follow up or consistently track test results that require monitoring, you know..Like do his job. He will make you feel a fool, should you mention a pain, example: During my last physical he asked if I had any issue to discuss. I mentioned some pain I was having in my left forearm. He pretty much rolled his eyes and said, “squeeze my finger”, then says, “you have fibromyalgia, and there’s nothing that can be done about that”. He also said my issues are from stress due to the loss of my son in 2010 and that he has another patient that lost 2-3 kids and that gentleman is getting up everyday and handling it. “Dr” gallatin knows nothing of my life and he should just stick to job and run the bloodwork. I do not have fibromyalgia and, there are things that can be done, if I did. Though I do not have… fibromyalgia, I do have many issues that would and SHOULD have been addressed via bloodwork and a thorough physical by the primary physician. Instead, it took me 4 months, specialists and a new primary to get relief. He will also file revisions 6 months later to the insurance company to say during the physical he had to speak to me about my fibromyalgia. In doing so, he got more money for the joke of a physical and…would like a copay for such. That said, in recent months, the practice seems to be putting additional fees on anything, to include using the portal that they push their patients to use for “convenience”. Run.

Did not X-ray & told me my toe/ foot was fine despite pain & swelling & blunt force trauma - told me it was def not broken. 2 weeks later - still in pain & no improvement went to Urgent Care & found out it definitely was broken . Sloppy diagnosis & 2 weeks of non-treatment -thanks to Dr Gallatin.

I am a registered nurse and have more years than I care to admit of experience working with various doctors, seeing their ability to communicate with patients, their degree of compassion towards patients, and their skill to treat a wide variety of conditions. Dr. Gallatin is one of the top doctors I have seen in all of these areas. Sometimes patients don't fully realize how complex it is for another person to quickly understand their situation and then competently address their health issues. Dr. Gallatin is knowledgeable, takes the time, and pays the attention needed to do this well. I trust him with my care and highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Gallatin has been my primary physician for around 20yrs. His bedside manner has always been exceptional. I have had 2 very serious diagnosis of cancer in the passed and he has always given me the best care possible. He has personally called me with test results that I needed to be concerned about and with good news as well. He takes his time with me and answers all my questions. He is a very good and caring doctor!

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Gallatin. My husband is a long-time patient and has been so happy with his experience over the years that he convinced me to make the switch. I couldn't be happier that I did. Dr. Gallatin always addresses our health issues quickly and thoroughly. He has solved problems that other doctors could not. He listens and provides sound advice and recommendations. I (we) couldn't give a stronger recommendation!

Dr. Gallantin has been my doctor for about 10 years. Love his bedside manner. Very personable and professional. For every illness, I was diagnosed and treated. No complaints.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Gallatin. Professional, courteous, and on time, he not only takes the time needed, but he always finds a way to fit me in promptly when necessary. Never keeps me waiting for the appointment or test results. I recommend him to all my friends, and even though he no longer accepts new patients, he has made room for several of them.

Dr. Gallatin misdiagnosed me. Later he misdiagnosed my wife. Totally different problems. He will never again see me in the capacity of a doctor. No Way.

For traditional medical issues, Dr. Gallatin is fine. If there is any other kind of issue, I would not recommend him. He blew me off when I needed him the most. I was fortunate and found another doctor who really could empathize and took the time to help.

Great doctor. Always gets it right because he understands me and knows my health and personal details. Enjoyable to talk with, and I always look forward to seeing him. I have been with him for years. The office became a bit rushed a few years ago. I think this coincided with the national problem of Primary Care practices falling apart and being called "unsustainable" in national articles. Since 2011 though, they they have changed the practice experience to a "medical home" practice style, and this has made a difference. There is no better example of why having a primary doctor matters than him.
