Dr. David Endicott Gannett JR., MD

Dr. Gannett graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Arizona and later became an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan. Dr. Gannett brings several honors and awards to The Oregon Clinic - Radiation Oncology, including the American Radium Society Visiting Oncologist Award for Head and Neck Cancer from the University of Florida and the ACRO Fellowship in Gynecologic Radiotherapy from the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Gannett was also awarded a Research Fellowship from the American Society of Radiation Oncology for the study of a specific type of brain tumor and its response to …radiation therapy. His areas of focus include brain tumors, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and esophageal cancer. Dr. Gannett is also the Oregon representative to the Carrier Advisory Committee for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and a manuscript reviewer for the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics (the Red Journal) and for Diseases of the Esophagus.
