Dr. David Ernest Garza, MD

I have been seeing Dr. David Garza for more than 10 years. He is comprehensive and always provided clear and concise information about my health. His advice has always been correct. His staff is caring and efficient. They are always precise and follow through on any of my needs. Meredith is sharp and knowledgeable. He is the best gyno/ob around!!!

I've been with Dr. Garza for many years, all I can say is I will never find a Doctor as good as he is, I feel very comfortable with him. The time you wait is no time at all.Although he's quiet far I would go double that and double if I had to.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. This was the WORST...WORST experience I have EVER had at a doctors office , his poor attitude reflects on his staff. I have had bad doctors before but never have I even thought to write a poor review until I went to Dr. Garza. There was a brunette nurse who was pleasant but nothing special . The older blonde headed nurse was nothing but rude and unhappy every time we went in for a checkup . I ended up switching doctors after 3 visits, the only reason I stuck it out that long is because I didn't want to make the same mistake twice and really put a lot of thought into what doctor I would finish out my pregnacy with. Dr. Garza and his staff made going to the doctor the first half of my pregnacy (1st child) a miserable and terrifying experience. I NEVER got any of my test results back until I switched doctors and they filled me in on everything. The nurses messed up on my paper work causing confusion with our insurance company . He made me so UNCOMFORTABLE… during the vaginal exam and didn't have enough respect to even try and keep the small paper cover they give you on me AT ALL. The amazing Doctor I chose to deliver my baby always kept me covered and feeling comfortable during any exam and ALWAYS took the time to talk with us about all of our questions .We looked forward to going to my appointments, with Dr. Garza I cried after my first appointment and cried before and after the next two . Again.. He and the blonde women were nothing but rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. From what I have read and heard after having my child , if you haven't been going to him for 10 plus years, he is mean and nasty and speaks to you as if you are incompetent. So.. If your wanting to have a great , stress free as possible pregnacy ... RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM DR. GARZA's OFFICE!! There are many great doctors in San Antonio who will make being pregnant a beautiful , exciting experience .

I have been a patient of Dr. Garza's for over 20 years now. He has always been very professional and cordial during my annual visits. His staff, especially Meredith, have been a pleasure to see each year.

Dr. Garza is incredibly rude and condescending. I'm a young patient and he made me feel stupid, uncomfortable, and judged. One of my tests came back with not so great results and he lectured me on how I was at fault. Unless you're pregnant, this man is extremely rude. Avoid if possible.

I have nothing but high re-guards for Dr. Garza. He is the best. He takes time to get to know you and talks to you about your problems and your worries.

Dr. David Garza has been my doctor since I was 15 years old and has delivered all five of children. He is like a father to me and letting me know I have to take care of myself and telling me You need to take your vitamins...lol He is awesome I appreciate everything he has done for me and soon he will be my doctor the sixth time since I am pregnant again and this time I will tie my tubes this time.

I had a horrible experience. Neither he or his office listens takes time or accurately notes medical information. My baby was in the nicu and on top he didn't take action when I was low on blood. My mom is a doctor and can verify his clinical diagnosis was aweful. Antiquated systems for patient care.

I have seen Dr. Garza for 18 years and I am very happy with him. I have gotten to know his personality and sometimes he is more talkative than others. I know that I am well taken care and I am overall happy with him. He delivered my 4 kids and will deliver my 5th. The only thing I would change is that maybe he could spend a little more time with the patients. Other than that he is great!

This man operated on my 13 y/o daughter after we were seen in the ER for a possible ovarian torsion. I had a question about the OR consent and he acted extremely annoyed with me. Then, a week after her surgery, she was having severe abdominal pain so I called him. I asked him if he remembered her and he said "barely". Then he asked me what I expected him to do about it and to just go to the ER.Wretched man! He has no business being a healthcare provider to humans or animals, for that matter.
