Dr. David Matthew Giampetro, MD

Dr. Giampietro didn’t listen to the history I related and was rude and combative in his demeanor, implying I was either an addict or sold my pain medication despite conceding that I do, in fact, have several conditions that warrant pain meds. He asked for my former urine test results and I agreed to release them, but he did not wait the four days it took for them to arrive. Instead, he wrote a four-page “note” to my other physicians recounting my history incorrectly and suggesting, based on his five minutes with me, that I should not be prescribed pain meds. Because of his deciding to write that letter with all of its incorrect information, it is now a part of my medical record not only in his office, but in the offices of all my physicians. When he got my urine tests that were, in fact, consistent and affirmed what I had stated, he sent a one line addendum to his four page missive to my doctors.

Pretty overconfideant and some patients he hands out loads of oxycodone, others limp around. Very erratic, seems uncomfortable around patients
