Dr. David Scott Glassman, MD

A relative recommend Dr. Glassman, after seeing several doctors I didn’t feel like they had my best interest in mind. Many doctors first option was for me to have major surgery which consisted of having an incision from hip to hip and possibly from my belly button down as well. When I finally met with Dr. Glassman, he took the time to get to know my situation, he suggested different options of how to go about the surgery with the intentions of making it as minimally invasive as possible. And, what stood out most was his self confidence in taking me as a patient since my situation was complex. I had multiple fibroids, some of them were very large. I was very concerned about keeping my ovaries if they were in a good condition. Dr Glassman was very understanding and accommodated my surgery according to my needs. Dr. Glassman explained to me that he would only removed my ovaries if he saw any issues with them. We met prior to my surgery to go over what I should expect during and after… surgery. On the day of surgery, Dr. Glassman arrived before I did and again, went through what I should expect during and after surgery. He had an entire team of doctors, assistants, and there was bags of blood ready for me in case of an emergency. My surgery turned out to be very successful because Dr. Glassman took the time to do what was needed for me to have as minimally invasive surgery as possible. Dr. Glassman made sure to come see me at 6:00 a.m while I was confined in the hospital. His attention was excellent and the amount of issues I had that he was able to resolve with only four small incisions through the robotic surgery da Vinci was amazing. I am now in my 6 week post operation recovery and I am doing great. I feel great physically and I am relieved to have been in such good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Glassman.
