Dr. David P. Grise, Jr. is a board-certified physician specializing in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine and critical care at Prime Healthcare. Dr. Grise also completed a fellowship in pulmonary disease at Saint Francis Hospital through the University of Connecticut.

An active participant in the medical and local community, Dr. Grise is a member of several professional organizations, including the Hartford County Medical Association and Connecticut State Medical Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Grise is incredible! He saved my husband’s life, literally! I have never met another doctor who even comes close to him. His level of care and understanding are exemplar! He is a wizard, is warm, listens, validates your feelings , and genuinely cares! I can’t thank him enough for all he has done for our family! Dr. Grise- you’re the absolute best of the best!

Dr. David Grise has been my doctor for 16 years and I can honestly say he is a great doctor. He is the kind of doctor that takes the time to listen and help you. It's hard to find a doctor who really cares like Dr. Grise. I'm lucky to have him for my doctor.

Regarding Dr. Grise, I have never met a more competent and compassionate kind man as Dr. Grise. All physicians should follow his lead. A true professional who knows what he is doing. I am fortunate to have been referred to hiim.

Dr Grise spends time listening and talking to you, he does not bury his face in the computer while he is in the room with you which is what most drs do now. He is always kind, attentive, caring and right on with the diagnosis! Dr Grise understands and cares about his patients, and his nurse Lana is the Best! Other office help, not so helpful.

Dr. Grise is always kind and very attentive. His office staff however does not answer the phone, leaving you on hold for a while. When you finally do speak to a staff member they are nearly always rude and unhelpful.

Dr. Grise is everything one would wish for. He is professional, courteous, prompt and very "warm". He spent an enormous amount of time with me after I had multiple bouts with pneumonia. A wonderful staff as well. I will recommend him very highly !!

I have never experienced a doctor as right-on diagnostically and as caring as Dr. Grise. I took my father--who was unable to speak and explain his symptoms--to Dr. Grise. No other doctor had nailed the complicated list of interconnected symptoms, and especially the exact condition of his lungs. As a result of seeing Dr. Grise in action, I then became his patient when I developed a rare lung condition which he diagnosed and treated effectively after false starts with other physicians. This is the physician I value most in my medical universe.

This doctor really listens. He cares about his patients. Spends over the customary 15 minutes.When you have tests, you receive a letter giving you the results and hope you are doing well. I trust this doctor completely.
