Dr. David Hongrong Guan, MD

I must say I have been very pleased with services I have received for the last year and a half. Everyone is professional, including staff. Dr Quan took the time to really explain what my issues were without making me feel rushed. I highly recomment

The receptionist, the first one you see upon arrival? The one with the European accent. She's the rudest, most unprofessional and uncaring person I've EVER seen in a medical office, bar none. The minute I see she's in charge my heart sinks. She's made so many mistakes in scheduling me and my tests, etc. that I wonder if it''s really all accidental. Almost impossible, really. I don't know where "Average wait 17.5 minutes" came from, but I wait longer than that in the cold room they put you in AFTER the 45-90 minute waiting-room wait! Not sometimes, but every single time. By then, the questions I'd wanted to ask Dr.Guan have to wait; I have a life besides sitting in a waiting room listening to people wheeze. Dr.Guan asks me, "So, you ever smoked?" Reasonable question, but every time I visit? After over five years, you think he'd remember when I quit! He acts like he has no idea who I am, and asks me the same things every single visit. Last time, he disagreed when I listed the… medications to be refilled. "No, I never give you that." "Yes sir, every visit for the past five years." "No, I... I never give it to you." Right. I'm a huge liar, making up tall tales about something like which inhalers I'm currently on and my Cpap machine I use nightly. Why on earth would I do that? Omg so INFURIATING! I could go on (and on and on and on) but you get the gist of it. I'm so glad when I'm out of that office, and every time I think, "I'm going to find someone else." I go home and check with my insurance company, but they cover only him, so to him I will go. But should I ever find another that my insurance will allow, I'm changing, no matter WHO it is! I love to breathe, I really do. But sometimes, I'd almost rather do without the meds that help me do that just to avoid that terrible place. I've never seen any other patients look too happy with the wait, either; it's always a topic of conversation so it's not just me!

Great staff but Dr guan was only an ok doctor. He seemed to not really listen to my problems or laughed them off like they were not big problems. They were not big to him but they were life changing to me. I have had the same problems for over 10 years and he has docmation from the start and they show that things have gotten worse but yet he still cant seem to help me or know how to help me
