In 1991, he attended New York University College of Dentistry and earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dr. Gutwirth became an associate dentist in a Bensonhurst, Brooklyn dental office. After five years as an associate, Dr. Gutwirth took over his existing practice in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He has been serving the community for over 20 years at his present practice. He routinely takes dental education courses throughout the year so he can offer his patients the best treatment options. Dr. Gutwirth has been married to his wife, Lisa, for more than 20 years. They have three children together, two girls and a boy, that all attend local schools in the community.
