Dr. David William Hansen, MD

Dr. David Hansen is an endocrinologist who specializes in diabetes and metabolism as well as pediatrics. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed his residency at Children's Hospital. With 15 years of experience treating patients, Dr. Hansen focuses on helping both children and adults manage complex endocrine conditions. He speaks Spanish and English fluently.

Dr. Hansen practices at multiple locations throughout Syracuse, New York, including Joslin Diabetes Center, Crouse Hospital, Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, and Upstate University Hospital. His expertise includes treating high blood sugar conditions and hyperglycemic emergencies in patients of all ages. He performs continuous glucose monitoring and various blood tests to help diagnose and manage diabetes and thyroid disorders.
