Dr. David Christopher Harkins, DO

After 5 months of therapy and a reverse shoulder replacement things are going great. Visited Dr.Harkens today for a 6 month check up and things everything is healing up better than I expected at this point and time. Fantastic Dr. who delivers GREAT results if you listen to what he and the therapist ASK you to do. Great facility with great employees, I would not go anywhere else for Orthopedics.

Great visit for a look at my knee. He listened to my complaints and questions about the pain I was experiencing. I got my questions answered and was presented options for treatment. I trust Dr. Harkins’ years of experience and expertise. The whole staff at AOC was friendly and professional.

I received another Injection in my right shoulder yesterday which was very helpful. A number of years ago he did a total replacement no my left shoulder which was very successful. Needless to say I’m very pleased with treatments, I would definitely recommend him. He’s a very knowledgeable and caring Doctor. Thank You Doctor

Dr. Harkins is a great person. He is very up front with you. He is a straight forward doctor. Always getting straight to the point. He did surgery on my elbow. He did a really good job. I would highly recommend him as a great doctor and surgeon.

Dr.Harkins does a great job!! He answers all my questions and he has operated on my shoulder and my knee.I would definitely recommend him

I really like & respect Dr Harkins who is going to replace my right shoulder. However it’s not going to be a normal replacement because there’s something abnormal about the injury or whatever, it’s constantly hurting & swollen, it is my right shoulder my prominent hand so hard not to use it!! Because of other health issues this past year & 1/2 I’ve had to delay this surgery until now. So needless to say I’ve had to deal with this pain & discomfort all this time. So I asked Dr Harkins for pain medication since I can’t have this surgery for a few weeks. I had open heart surgery this last October so we have to wait & get clearance from my heart surgeon & primary care physician. But I am not happy with Dr Harkin not allowing me to have pain relief at all! What is pain medication for? I’m in pain & getting no relief. Ridiculous

I always have a good doctor visit. The front desk people are always happy, energetic and easy to talk with about things . The Doctor's, Dr. Harkins always has made me feel comfortable and confident that they have my best interest at heart. In tries to get you the help you need.

Quick and painless

Dr Harkins and staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very caring and able to correct the problem.Shoulder has been fixed and no pain after 3 weeks.I would certainly use them again.

Extremely nice staff. Dr. Harkins is very calm and takes his time with you. I never felt rushed and all my questions were answered. Highly recommend.
