I would not recommend. I had a lower lift 5 yrs ago and it did not last. The scars are extremely noticeable. Unbelievable.

BEWARE! You get what you pay for is so true with this doctor! I did my lift in 2020. Now I have paralysis on one side of my mouth. Has changed my life and self esteem for the worst. All I can do is pray for a miracle. I have visited several other surgeons and they offer no hope. Please don’t make the mistake I made! ITS YOUR FACE you can’t hide it.

I had the Biltmore lift done 5 years ago this month. I was surprised to see another person say they had two people performing their surgery; this was my experience too, and it resulted in facial asymmetry since each person did different work on either side of my face. It took over 2 years for my numbness to go away and I still have unusually high pain sensitivity. This makes things like dental work and getting injectables extremely uncomfortable. My earlobes are now attached to the sides of my face and the scars are still embarrassingly visible, even after 5 years of trying lasers, microneedling and peels to get rid of them. The liposuction of the neck was needed and I'm glad I had that part done, but it wasn't worth the other problems the surgery caused. This doctor relies heavily on social media for business; his Instagram photos are misleading because they show patients at less than 1 week after surgery looking very tight and full. This is not an accurate reflection of the actual… (healed) results of the surgery, which are much less compelling with sagging, asymmetry and volume loss after a handful of months. He doesn't have many Google reviews which I should have paid more attention to in retrospect. I think this surgery is something people get excited about at first because it seems like a cheap miracle solution. Most of the reviews are probably written during that initial high right after surgery. Unfortunately, cheap plastic surgery is cheap plastic surgery and I wish I would have invested more to get real transformative and long lasting results.

This was my first facelift , done 3 years ago . When I arrived I was surprised as to why Dr. Harley had not arrived yet , but another man started the anesthesia injections . After the he finished ,Dr Harley arrived and started the procedure on the left side of my face , while the other man started surgery on my right face . I thought that was odd as my consult was with Dr Harley and he did not say my lift would be done by opposing attendants. It took almost 2 years before the numbness on my left side to go away , but even after 3 years the numbness on my right side hasn’t . But my complaint is that the left side of my face is sagging more than the right side of my face . It’s evident to me now that’s because it was done by two different people. This can’t be a normal procedure! How can one person cut and pull the skin the same way another person does ? So now what do I do? Get the left side lifted to match the right side ? I’m so angry and disappointed!!

Took me a long time to write this... I have previous experience with a different doctor in a different state where I had a lift 10 years ago with outstanding results. I must emphasize that I heal very quickly and do not scar. Since It went so well the first time I became too relaxed in believing a second small lift with Dr. Harley would be as easy. After two years of the surgery with Dr. Harley, I can assert that the stitching around my earlobes is just terrible; as are the ones in the lower outside of my eyes. My earlobes are now completely attached to my face (which were never before) and clearly show scarring, pulling, and scream plastic surgery. The stitches on my lower eyes form wrinkles that run up towards the end of my eyebrows. So I have new wrinkles as a result of the surgery. In addition, on eye opens before the other, not simultaneously. My best friend (we had surgery with Dr. Harley the same morning) lost an earlobe completely. Dr. Harley did not notice until we… pointed it out to him in the follow up visit and he did not do anything to attempt a correction. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

It is coming close to my three year anniversary for the Biltmore Lift I had with Dr. Harley in May of 2017. I am in the over-60 age category, and had significant laxity in my neck as well as some jowls that really disturbed me. Always having a very weak chin, this aging was even more unattractive and noticeable I felt. I chose Dr Harley after reading patient reviews and actually Direct messaging some of his patients, who were most kind, and became guiding lights to me. I drove alone well over 900 miles to have my surgery. I was undaunted. Dr Harley, for me, inspired great confidence. I was able to place complete trust and surrender to the pills he provides for anesthesia, even though I never even take an aspirin. I felt zero pain once under, although occasionally I could hear him and the nurse speak. I had very mild discomfort after surgery and ended up not taking the pain pills after one or two right at the beginning. What was accomplished with my neck was extraordinary! The laxity… was gone and the lift was at an angle that was very natural but very tight. When I saw my profile, I was astounded! For the first time, it actually looked like I had a little chin, because he must of somehow done a little tuck underneath. Today, it is hard to believe how wonderful my neck and profile still look! I still have definition there and it still looks smooth and lifted. Of course, I have continued to age, but I have no jowls forming and nothing fell or collapsed. It disturbs me when I read these negative reviews because I know Dr Harley would be incapable of those things. I plan on returning to Dr Harley in the future for my eyes. I am very thrilled and grateful I chose this surgeon.

My husband and I had the biltmore lift ,we both had to return because we both couldn't tell a difference after the swelling had gone down after 6 months . Dr. Harley agreed . I had to have my neck redone at an additional cost plus my husband. My husband was left with a very long scar on his neck which he is VERY self conscious about, people have actually asked him what happened! We are now trying to find a Pastic Surgeon that can hopefully fix it ! This was a very poor decision on our part to go with Dr. Harley! I also had my eyes done and they didn't even turn out any better!! A lot of money wasted !!!!!

I can't believe those realself trolls are here too...UGH! Don't listen to the outright lies from these "patients" because it is really just a few people sucked in by a crazy one or two who just want free stuff. His nurse does not do any of the surgery and they sure don't use any saws. I did my procedure without the valium and the "saw" (LOLOLOL) is actually the cautery machine beeping. I can't believe some of these "reviews" and you probably shouldn't either. Find a surgeon you are comfortable with.

Wow! I am floored by the negative reviews and it's apparent that some are by the same person. I had this surgery three years ago and yes my face has continued to age, but I still look great. Dr Harley delivers amazing results for half the price of other surgeons, especially when you consider that his price includes the corset platysmaplasty. I paid $6400. And let me tell you, if you are not happy, he will do what he can to improve your results. I am in nj, and every time I had an ounce of anxiety, I called him and he talked me through it, and NEVER made me feel like a pain in the butt. And to the person who said bad reviews get removed from realself, I've left plenty of them for other doctors and they are still there.
