Dr. Haueisen was wonderful in fixing my left thumb. I am left handed and after many years with injections this was my last resort. I feared this surgery as I am very active with many hobbies, such as cross stitching, water color and making cards. So I was fearful that I would have to give this all up. However, Dr. Haueisen told me not to worry and I would be good to go. He is a man of his words. The surgery went well and recovery was amazing. After three months I was back to my old self and returning to my hobbies. He gave me many exercises to do at home and did not need physical therapy. That to me was amazing. I have always been impressed with Dr. Haueisen, as he gives it to you straight. He gives you options before cutting and if they don't work, then he does what he does best and that is to operate and fix your problem. Dr. Haueisen performed carpal tunnel surgery on both my hands, not at the same time of course. I was very impressed how nice the staff was and always concerned about muy comfort level. My veins aren't easy to find but once the got one in the gave me something to relax so the could finish. Once surgery was over I was amazed how painless it was. Recovery was a breeze, I did not need anything but ibuprofen to help with any discomfort which was very minor. After surgery visits were vey brief but informative. I was very glad I had the procedure done. My hands feel great now, no numbness, pain or discomfort. Dr. Haueisen did an amazing job and I would highly recommend him if you are considering surgery.

Organized and excellent staff on the day of surgery. Only 3 hours in the building, for carpal tunnel surgery, and then home. Quick recovery after surgery. Excellent nurses in the office.
