Summary
Dr. Hawse brought his knowledge of pediatrics with interests in pediatric cardiology to Commonwealth Pediatrics in 2000. He has a deep admiration for children, in particular their attitude toward life. Children are truly remarkable, he says. In many ways, they are so much stronger than we are, especially in the way they are able to rebound from illness.??After graduating from the UK School of Medicine, Dr. Hawse completed his pediatric residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He and his wife, Beth, also a pediatrician with Commonwealth Pediatrics, have three children: Michael, Thomas and Kate. In his free time, Dr. Hawse enjoys cooking and golfing.
