Dr. David Hazan, DDS

I was in agonizing pain from neglecting a broken filling for years, and it had finally caught up with me. I was terrified of the procedure but Dr Hazan assured me that everything was going to be ok, he numbed me up and after the numbing I felt immediately better and I felt nothing during my root canal. I was very grateful that he was there to clean out my tooth and remove all source of infection.

This dentist is a predator of people who have no one else to see on short notice so he can get away with holding you hostage to obscene prices. Also I know he brags about how he writes in his charts after a complaint is filled against him so he can go back and “ doctor the chart notes” after the fact to suit his own best interests to get him off. He did not know I heard him talking about it and my tooth about what if I found out it was fixable and didn’t need to be taken out and implanted. Dental records are legal documents that need to be written in at the time of service and not after the fast. He is a scammer and has been charged with many billing and fraudulent offences to the state dental board. He is smart as he knows how to play the system and alter legal patient records after the fact. I heard he and a friend have a friendly competition as to who can charge a patient more for emergent services. What happened to the standard of excellence and ethical treatment of patients. … He knows you have little choice when it comes to last minute work or emergency hours and take advantage of his clients. He should have his license revoked but he knows how to play the system. Also his breath stinks like rot mouth. He’s probably passing his own periodontal disease into his patients. Go to any other dentist as this one only cares about making money off you not your overal oral health. He is one of the most dishonest unethical dentists out there and his skills and his lack of how best to treatment plan a patient and standard of care and had no idea about timeline and order of implant then crown placement 3-6 months later is just another example how he makes a quick buck at the expense of what is actually best for you and the patient but keeps his wallet full of cash. Maybe a class action suit would help or maybe he Dental Association should just protect us from dentists like this one. I would give less than one star if that was possible. Buyer be warned and this warning is if you have two functional brain cells in your head go to any other dentist. This one could care less about you and is that what you really want as a health care profession working in your mouth.

What kind of dentist performs unnecessary and costly procedures? What kind of dentist fails to inform the patient of all procedures and cost BEFORE performing them? What kind of dentist fails to provide post operative instructions? What kind of dentist doesn't provide patient with any documentation besides receipts? What kind of dentist fails to release a patients complete medical file after several written and in person request? David Hazan is the type of "dentist" who does all of these things. He ruined my smile, left me thousands of dollars in debt and has caused much stress over the past 7 months. Please do your research. I wouldn't wish what I have been through on my very worst enemy.

I had fallen in shower at 830PM on a Saturday evening and broken 4 of my front teeth. My family dentist was unavailable . Dr Hazan met me at his office at 10PM , since I had leaving for vacation the next day. Within 2 hours , he had X rayed, splinted and stabilized my dental injuries, so I was able to go on my trip. My dental work took 5 months to complete. The quality of my care was excellent and Dr Hazan was always available by phone if I had any concerns. I highly recommend him.
