Dr. David Edward Heape, MD

Ive had this physician several times and everytime was a horrible experience. Im not sure if he doesn't see the excitement in the career he chose anymore or if he's just tired after 32 years however this man is very arrogant rude disrespectful and etc .I would be horrified if I had to count on this man to save my life or anyone else's.I believe he has a issue with African Americans as wells.This guy really needs some looking into I begin to imagine what horrible things he has done!

I have a 4 year old that broke bones in her fingers and nearly cut off said fingers when a large metal table overturned on her. He was very gentle with her and very caring. He gave us so much information and made sure we followed up with a specialist and also gave all their information. It was an awful ordeal to go through and he made sure she was as comfortable as he could the entire time. He and his staff made sure she had lots of stickers and "treasures"!

This Doctor should have chosen a different career. He was one of the most hateful, rude, and downright mean doctors I've ever seen. His attitude was awful and the way I witness him treat my Mom was unacceptable. But other Patients in the ER were receiving the same treatment. Also, lack of bedside manner was the most incredible display I've ever seen. His complete lack of understanding of what was going on with my Mom. And the fact she spent many days at the Main Hospital(GHS) of which our local hospital is owned by(OMH). He disregarded their instruction on care for her. It took me having to get into his face before he called the neurologist at the Main Hospital who had ordered the treatment for her. That Doctor at the main hospital override the ER Doctor decisions on how to treat her. My Mom suffers from Sezuires. The ER Doctor told my Mom nothing was wrong and she shouldn't be here wasting his time. I have filed a complaint on behalf of everyone who had a problem with this Doctor. If… you get sick and need ER treatment. Please By-Pass this ER altogether. You will save your self and time and money. Only use this ER if its a life or death situation. Then request to be shipped to the Main Hospital. Don't stay at OMH-Greenville.

Worst doctor I've ever met. Rude. Took forever....after I came in the ambulance due to chest pain. Then to top it off, gave me a script for something I'm allergic to. Run if you get him at the ER!

He saw my wife in the ER and did an exceptional job in reducing a severely dislocated thumb. An orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand surgery was thoroughly impressed with his job.
