I love helping people attain beautiful smiles, and as an orthodontist, I have surrounded myself with people who genuinely enjoy helping others. From my office team members to my assistants, we all really enjoy each other! You can often hear our light-hearted laughter down the hall as we share a laugh with our patients.
Education and Continuing Education
To become an orthodontist, I first got my Undergraduate Degree from Indiana University, then attained my DDS at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1980. Lastly, I received my Orthodontic Certificate from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1982.
I believe staying at the forefront of technology is very important and the reason for that is simple: it makes getting a beautiful smile more comfortable and convenient. When new technology proves itself, I want my patients to be the first to benefit. Since 1982 and to this day, I …have been at the forefront in using proven advanced techniques and technology. I use these methods to enhance and improve my patients’ orthodontic treatment, making every visit a positive one.
In the Practice
I love what I do because a great smile can change someone’s life, not only as an improvement in oral health, but also in confidence! I am blessed to have the best patients anywhere. My patients are a family of friends. I am honored to have been serving our community since 1982, and cannot wait to welcome your family to our practice.
Although we love to have fun and laugh, we are serious about achieving beautiful functional smiles. We feel that every orthodontic visit should be positive and comfortable for every patient, and we’re grateful that our patients feel comfortable having fun and joking with us!
Family Life
I was raised in Southern Indiana, and have lived in Bloomington since 1982. My wonderful family includes my wife, Hope, and our five children, Matt, Michael, Kylee, MacKenzi, and Mallory.
In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, jogging, traveling, attending the performing arts and of course, spending time with my family! I am also an avid mountain biker and love to frequent the Brown County trails.
